April was super friendly and sweet she recommended as bunch of different things. But I got the sandwich with a side of Mac and Cheese!! BEST BBQ EVER!! She even let me try the coleslaw freshly made, super great service!! Will definitely comeback in a heart beat!!!‍

Julian's has simply the best bbq in Corpus Christi that we have found. I generally don't purchase bbq. Family members have always provided some pretty good meals. Unfortunately, the older cooks have passed on. Julian's puts the brisket & sausage on the plate like your dad used to (or your husband's uncle). The chicken and chopped beef are amazing as well. As a matter of fact, their sides are old school, awesome too! This place is worth the drive across town to pick up orders to go!

Just had some of the worst bbq ever - tasted like they forgot to season the meat and it also didnt have a smoked flavor. Had both briskeet and pulled pork. Very bland. Also had no mac n cheese and no buns for sandwiches. On vacation in Texas and wanted some authentic bbq and this place did not deliver.

I have no idea how this place is rated as high as it is. My wife and I felt like barbecue for lunch and wanted to try someplace new. Because of the reviews, we chose Julians. We hadn't eaten there before so we got a pound of chicken, 1/2 pound each of pork ribs and brisket and some pinto beans. The chicken was extremely dry, The ribs were soggy to a point that I questioned if they were boiled and even though I like a little fat on my brisket, this was so fatty that I threw half of it away...literally. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because of the pinto beans. Not to mention the lack of personality of the two women portioning the food. It was a wasted $50.00.

Being a Central Texas native, I think this is pretty good BBQ. The thing is this - Julian's isn't the only restaurant that is gouging customers on price. Inflation, I get it. But there seems to be a feeding frenzy by greedy business owners in the name of rising prices. Julian's charged me almost $4 for large iced tea. Something I could make at home for 25 cents. This is getting out of hand, so hopefully businesses will get the idea and start taking a more long term view. Stop ripping people off to pad your profits. I won't go back, even for better than average BBQ.

Extremely rude and lacked customer service. Ordered the 1 meat plate with mac and rice. Noticed that the cutter was down to the end of the brisket ( last 1/2 lb or so) which looked dry and that part of the brisket i don't typically enjoy. I kindly asked for my order to be cut from a fresh brisket. I know i was heard because the manager, cashier, as well as the cutter asked me to repeat my request. I was blatantly ignored and i witnessed the cutter continue to cut my order from the same piece of dry meat. As they served me my tray, i asked them them if it was from a fresh brisket (knowing very well it wasn't). The cutter and the helper asked what was wrong with the meat they served me. I simply replied i don't like that part of the brisket. I asked if my request was too much trouble for them and where the customer service was. As a paying customer i expected to receive a little more respect and accommodation. The helper snatched my tray away from me and told the cutter "he just wants a fresh brisket" while gesturing to me. I witnessed the cutter pulled out not a fresh brisket but a bigger piece of dried out brisket that was not the marbled brisket i had requested and cut two very dry slices and toss them on my tray. The helper then shoves the tray back into my hand while looking away stating " yeah next time were not going to do that". My request and cut of meat was never met in the first place. This was all witnessed by the manager which did nothing to please his customer. I will not be returning to this establishment nor will I recommend this place to anyone else. If asked i will tell of this encounter to anyone inquiring about the establishment. Unacceptable. 10/10 would not recommend to a friend.

Great BBQ, we had pork ribs and brisket some of the best we have ever had. Going back early to try the beef ribs and chicken. They were sold out. Not fancy, kinda dirty but worth it.

I've not been feeling well and hadn't been able to eat real good in few days so my craving was barbecue because I was not able to eat at Easter so I got my usual marbled brisket and the pork ribs and the potato salad pecan pie lemon pie and as usual as many times as I've been there before etc 100% the food I'm not eating barbecue this good anywhere and I've been all over the country the service is very professional very friendly and they make you feel welcome.. and you cannot beat the fish I can cook brisket and I can cook ribs but Julian's tops me and everywhere else I've ever been go to Julian's you will not be disappointed.

The food was amazing, and the beef rib was large and juicy. The side items were delicious as well. We had potato salad, beans, and rice. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great as well.

Definitely my go to place for BBQ when it's not being cooked @ home. Two thumbs up I'm a picky eater and this definitely passed the test. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Good customer service with a clean establishment. #Yummy Ribs Marble brisket and sausage plate

We have been getting Fajitas on Friday for years. They’ve been great until today. Very chewy and rubbery. Frustrating!

After being a very good customer at The Shack BBQ Rockport I was looking foward to Jullians BBQ. No comparison whatsoever don't waste your money. The brisket was dry and overcooked...even my dog would not eat it,I got the 3 meat platter and most went in a doggie bag. I now drive back to rockport for their great BBQ.

Mask Nazis Alert. I took the wrong car and didn't have masks for my 81 year old mother, my daughter and myself. I apologized and they told me to leave until I had a mask. So I left.

I really hate to do this and I really wanted to like this place especially because everyone was so nice. I asked what they recommended and I was told it was turkey Thursday and that I had to try the turkey. It was absolutely the driest most flavorless piece of meat I've ever eaten. The brisket was okay but nothing to write home about. The sausage was pretty good but kinda cold. I'm not a bbq sauce guy at all, as I think the meat should stand on its own. With that being said, I don't know what the hell that sauce is; but it's not good. I really like that I had the option to get tortillas instead of bread, the Mac n cheese and beers were also average at best. I'll give them another try next time I'm in town, but you gotta do something about that turkey!
