Julian's has simply the best bbq in Corpus Christi that we have found. I generally don't purchase bbq. Family members have always provided some pretty good meals. Unfortunately, the older cooks have passed on. Julian's puts the brisket & sausage on the plate like your dad used to (or your husband's uncle). The chicken and chopped beef are amazing as well. Being a Central Texas native, I think this is pretty good BBQ. The thing is this - Julian's isn't the only restaurant that is gouging customers on price. Inflation, I get it. But there seems to be a feeding frenzy by greedy business owners in the name of rising prices. Julian's charged me almost $4 for large iced tea. Something I could make at home for 25 cents.
