First time here ordered some Chalupas or tostadas was from a bag and it was nasty, the cheese was burned hardly any beans and they gave me lots of lettuce and tomatoes they didn't even add the meat topping to it but charged for it. This was the worst tostada I've had in my entire life and they're not hard to make. I don't know if it was because they wanted to close early but we will never go again.
Run of the mill Mexican food. Mexican food without the Tex-Mex kick. Like so many of these kinds of places, the food tends to be bland. The tortillas were fresh made. The cost with tip was $40 for two dinners with iced teas. Okay...but not a hidden gem.
We were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. I was honestly not expecting much for a Mexican restaurant on the island. It was our first time and everything we ordered was really good. I ordered the chicken fajitas with shrimp, my son got the asada tacos and my husband got the barbacoa torta and we all enjoyed everything. We'll be back!
