I get the grilled or blackened catfish, chicken fried steak, the cheeseburger and chicken fried chicken and all were very good. I've been a repeat customer and the ladies at the counter are very pleasant.
The place is known for their fajitas. But frankly anything you order is gonna be phenomenal. From the grilled drum, or bacon wrapped shrimp to the blackened quail, or maybe you're just looking for tacos and enchiladas no matter what you will not be disappointed.
I've been going to POETS for nearly 30 years! And I have to say, the one menu item I constantly order because it's my favorite, the beef fajitas! They're among the very best I've ever had here in texas! This I wholeheartedly recommend!
