Food was decent - burgers and sandwiches are massive.

The counter service was the standout - very friendly and accommodating.

This is a place where you order at the front, get a buzzer, self-serve drinks and condiments, and then pick up your food at the counter once your buzzer goes off.

Atmosphere is very pub-like - loud music, but a good mix.

Overall, a good place to try while visiting Padre Island.

Some of the best burgers I've had

I ordered The First Date. OMG, the best! It comes with a garlic aioli sauce, grilled mushrooms, your choice of cheese, and on sourdough bread. The fries were good too. I was only able to eat half. Even when it is re-warmed it kept it's great taste! Will definitely return.

Absolute worst meal I have had! $80 for very poor food and service! Would have been better off going the McDonalds! Will never be back, this place is terrible!

My family and I ate there over a week ago and the food was delicious! My husband got the limited time American burger, I got the buffalo wings and our boys each got a kids meal cheeseburger. All the food was fresh, hot and very welcome after a day at the beach. The staff was all super nice and friendly.

We live a few hours out from Corpus and the day after we ate there I realized I accidentally left my purse there. The owner was not only kind enough to ship it to me but he even paid all the expenses to make sure I got it safe and sound.

We will definitely be back! Thanks for the great experience during and after the meal!

Ordered a burger, chicken nachos, and a side salad @ 659. At 735, I placed a to go order from Hometown seafood. Left my kids @ pirate burger to pick up my seafood order. Made it back with my food, and the kids STILL didnt have their food!
After 80 minutes, the food we received was flavorless, and the fries were soggy.
My take out from Hometown seafood was AMAZING!
Kids ate that instead of the sad, bland nachos

Service was great and when there was an issue with our order it was resolved quickly. What wasn't quick was the speed of food preparation: we waited almost 45 minutes from ordering to getting our food while the establishment wasn't particularly busy.

When the food came out it was quite underwhelming: chicken strips straight from the public school system, grocery store fries, burgers with cool, hard buns, BBQ sauce more with water consistency than a sauce and it was super sweet.

Everything we had was great!! Unless you know what you want to eat the best thing is to get a table and figure it out the go back and order. The place was very crowded and we still received out appetizers quick and then our food just the same.
Sorry no pictures, we were enjoying our son and family while vacationing.

Great food. Nowhere to sit due to all the dirty tables. Sticker shock for sure.

Tried their world famous burger and it was delicious. Friendly staff and atmosphere made this worth it.
My wife being vegetarian also had the option for an impossible patty.
