If you’re looking for an authentic mexican food, this is the place, I recommend the burrito plate with barbacoa meat! That one is awesome. Nice serving size, nice flavors

This place has good food, but they are NOT true to their word when it comes to prices. They tell us a certain price for the meal, and I saw my receipt and it was a dollar more than what they told me after paying with a card. Pay with cash, not cards.

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered a pork chop, and the meat was too salty. The rice seemed overcooked and raw at the same time. It was over-seasoned, and honestly, eating it made me feel terrible. I also ordered my son a spinach omelet, and it came with way too much oil, just like my plate. I don't know if the food is always like this, but I wouldn't eat there again.

I just want everyone to know that I only eat breakfast at El Charro on Agnes St. I have no negative comments about breakfast. I do want share with everyone that El Charro is rounding off all totals to the nearest dollar. In other words, we are giving them extra money for free. Even though you might think it's only cents, cents can total up to a large amount of free dollars to the owner. The only one winning here is the owner. We're already getting charged for using our card, then tips and now free cents. We are being screwed. If you make them aware of it they will charge you the real total. Speak out! We are all struggling now a days.

My favorite breakfast place in Corpus Christi. Great and inexpensive food, a lot of options, friendly staff, and very nice atmosphere. Always puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day to start with my breakfast at El Charro.
