Shipley's Do-nuts

My family and I waited in drive through watching the workers pull the donut trays out of trash bags (they use as storage I guess…) all the donuts we bought tasted like the trash bag🤮

It is a Sunday tradition for my children and I to go before church and even when packed their service is quick and professional. Cleanliness is good and a good environment.

I won't ever go back to Shipley's. I got the apple fritter and it was as hard as a rock. The Koloich wasn't very good, again it was stale. This place was great back in the day. But it's now the place NOT to go.

Bear Claw has the lowest and smallest amount of filling I’ve ever seen. The dozen filled donuts we received had drop of white filling that taste about as good as toothpaste! This place went from “okay” to just pure horrible. The woman is rude too.

The Asian lady who runs the store is extremely rude. Three different occasions we purchased donuts with filling and got donuts with zero filling. We told the lady and she refused to make right, she did not care and said everything but sorry for the mistake! I’ll never buy from again

They must have new owners or something cause place is BAD. Kolaches are filled with dry, shriveled sausages that aren’t even half the size of the bread it’s wrapped in. They didn’t even bother putting ham in the ham kolaches. Window worker didn’t even speak to me; it may be a language barrier though. Good thing donuts are like 100% sugar, otherwise they’d find a way to mess that up too. Frozen kolaches from HEB are cheaper, have actual protein, and you know they’ll be hot.

We got donuts and kolache
The donuts my son loved.. my kolache didn't taste good at all. I threw it away. I don't think fault of you all just doesn't taste or look like kolaches I normally get.
The service was fantastic. The restaurant was clean.

It's a good store, they let me in even after they locked the door. The problem with Shipley's though is that their donuts just don't taste good at all. They taste like oil, not even the edible kind of oil. It's a Shipley's thing, something in their recipe... So I don't come here to buy donuts anymore. I think the kolaches are fine still.
