This food is always delicious. there’s a Mexican restaurant right across the street from me, but I will drive 2 miles down the street to get food from here instead. 👍🏽

El Potro Restaurant is a great family restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a kitchen rather than just a restaurant. The food is excellent, absolutely delicious, fresh, and flavorful, with generous portions for a completely fair price. Specific praised dishes include the Birria Ramen, the Quesabirrias, which is some of the best birria, served with delicious pickled onion, the best tortilla soup, and excellent refried beans. Tacos like the bacon, potato, and avocado taco and the beef fajita taco are also noted for being fresh-made.
The service is amazing, the best service, with super friendly and kind staff who are very sweet and personable. They take allergies very seriously and check in the right amount. Everything is fast and made right then, served hot and fresh. Meals are well-priced, and they sometimes serve complimentary fresh blueberry muffins. The chips and salsa are also very very delicious. It is a kind of hidden place, but you will not be disappointed if you eat here.
