Iโm so confused between the Pearl, the Cuban, and Snoopyโs. Are they having an identity crisis? I went to the pearl but they said the food comes from Snoopyโs????? Food ordered from Pearl came from Snoopy's delivered in Styrofoam to go containers. Oysters were pre shucked from earlier in the day. The menu from Snoopyโs seemed to be revamped. Why mess with a good thing??? This place used to be my go to, but will reconsider.

Their website shows they're still open! Went there for dinner this last Friday (12/19/25) to celebrate our anniversary and the doors were closed tight with NO information whatsoever. Wish someone would of marked this place as closed down permanently. What happened to this place? Did the owner skip town with the booty or is he a pirate in jail? ๐ So we decided to drive into Corpus (went to Nikos) because we Islander's know Doc's is overpriced food and drinks and has been a tourist trap for years! And Snoopy's is a good restaurant but not appropriate to celebrate someone's 27th anniversary. Not really any other place on the Island (or Port A.) for fine food.
I don't get all the recent reviews. First, this place was dead on a Saturday night....red flag. The PEI oysters seem to have been pre-shucked, served with no brine and dry. Calamari and Hush Puppies were fried so hard they were inedible. Burgers were ordered medium, came overcooked and horribly dry. Dirty rice was shameful....rice with ground beef tossed in, lacked flavor. The worst part was the boil. The shrimp and crab were cooked perfect, but everything was tossed in what must have been Franks Hot Sauce. The boil was not seasoned or Cajun...it was actual buffalo hot sauce for wings. Our server Sarah was very nice and attentive, she tried to make our experience great, but the food was just so disappointing. Live music wasnt too bad. Last note is the manager on duty who never conducted table visits, just spent the majority of the time at expo eating or chewing on gum...toothpick hanging out of his mouth. One and done.

I have come to this restaurant periodically since they've been open. Usually the food is mediocre.... but with chef Daveon taking over, it rocked my world. This place is slept on. If you came here and had a bad experience, try it now, it's so much better!

We went here on a Monday night and were one of a few there. Our service was excellent, the food was great and the beer was cold! We had the gumbo, fried catfish, fried shrimp & crab jalapeno poppers. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely visit this place again!

This is something I never do but for this place it is a must. My family and I have never been so invisible to a waitress as we were today. First off we get there and our waitress comes right away and gets our drink and appetizer order and it comes out quick. My wife goes to roll out her napkin and a super long hair is rolled up in it. No big deal it happens but I try to get our waitress attention and she never looks over at our table. Our appetizer is getting cold so after about 10 minutes of me Signaling her and her not looking our way I get up and go ask her for one which sheโs very nice and Apologetic. Ok after eating our appetizer we wait 55 minutes for our food and thereโs only 7 people eating in the whole restaurant. Our food finally comes and we get two bland tuna salads she did get the feta taken off mine thanks for that. We have over cooked shrimp and a plan old hamburger for 96 dollars before the trip. We always tip even though on this occasion we shouldnโt have but we did. Oh and we had to go ask for our check after being done with our dinner for 20 minutes. If youโre looking for a place to come have a drink with unlimited time with a beautiful view this is your place. If your coming from a day at the beach with your family and your looking for some awesome seafood and you don't have 2 hours to kill this is not your place. I donโt think we will go back anytime soon if ever which sucks because we have ate here before and it was good.
