I was in the neighborhood and the antique shop next door had mentioned this place to eat. When I walked into Sugarbakers I thought it was very quaint and smelled nice and sweet. We were greeted by the friendly staff and I ordered the bourbon banana walnut french toast and my husband the Belgian waffles. Came here for lunch after a hard work morning outside. Service was nice and friendly, Sharon was a delight. Catch of the day was delicious, Mahi mahi with artichoke and palm hearts, never had a fish so perfectly cooked before with such a sweet and savory sauce. Was recommended by a close friend and will be recommending it to others. I will be back.
This place is great! Good food for a great price! Friendly service, and the bakery items look amazing too. They were even able to make adjustments to my partners meal, who is allergic to dairy. Breakfast and brunch places are usually very hard for him to find something to eat at, but they were able to accommodate his allergy no problem.
