I have had very bad references from the management staff of this unit. They have little professionalism and like to take advantage of noble people who want to work with dignity. I do not recommend, at all, WORKING in this restaurant. A business like this calls into question the Integrity of the Latino Community in Corpus Christi.
I want to share the experience of a family member who worked here and went through a very unfair situation. My family member, who is new to the city, worked three days at this restaurant, where they received disrespectful and unprofessional treatment. They decided to leave due to the negative work environment, and on top of that, were never paid for their time worked. Despite attempts to resolve the issue, they have been waiting for a response for over three months with no success.
For anyone considering this restaurant as a job opportunity, especially those new to the city, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of transparency, respect, and professionalism in handling payments makes this an unsafe and unreliable place for those seeking a fair work experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values a respectful and serious work environment.

$12 for a flauta plate where the flautas are about the thickness of my thumb. i’ve never seen flautas served this tiny. took me longer to eat the rice and beans than the 3 flautas. they say they’ll need to charge more when asked for regular sized flautas, despite it already being $12. their breakfast tacos aren’t great either unfortunately. go literally anywhere else for NORMAL sized flautas and only pay around $10. i recommend el jaliscience!
