So, if you are looking for an authentic, locally owned Mexican restaurant that has a really laid-back atmosphere and amazing service with wonderful, traditional food, this place is definitely it. The wait staff is genuinely happy to be working here which says a lot about the restaurant. The food was exceptional. I ended up getting the Mexican plate (el plato Mexicano) with corn instead of flour tortillas and it was amazing. My daughter ended up getting a large quesadilla that was done to perfection and her boyfriend got the al pastor, which was exceptionally prepared as well. They have two homemade sauces in squirt bottles that they bring out to the table. One is a habanero pepper sauce and one is an avocado crema sauce. Both are out of this world. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, hands-down.

They suck. I ordered at the drive thru, 3 tacos de pastor. I got home and found two bean and cheese tacos. I called and all they could offer was me to come back and pick up the right order. They wouldn't credit my card either. Not even after I told him how much it was and how much I actually tipped them. I order food through uber eats all the time from this place but not anymore.

Went on day trip to Mustang Island from Northeast San Antonio, stopped by to get a bite to eat. I don’t leave ratings too often; but this place hit the spot. Got the ceviche, chicken quesadillas, chicken flautas plate, and asada plate. We enjoyed our food! It was delicious. It’s #2 restaurant for a reason. Take out, and the service was good at the window; with fast food being received. Thank you!

Open floor plan not for intimacy or privacy really, service was great, food tasted good, as expected. Prices were just right as well as kids plates! I recommend stopping by or drive thru to try out at least once.
