we had lunch at BBQ man based on reviews. It is 3rd generation family. Looked like all locals there. We had brisket sandwiches. They have a relish bar, with the best pico I even had.
Whewhyyy! A great bbq joint! This is BBQ Woody. Finally got around to coming in before I leave the Coastal Bend. Heard good comments aboit the llace and seen it off the hiway since Oct. What agreat place you all got there and learned that it is 50 yrs old...congrats for your successful longevity. The place is 60s inside and love the classic furniture and atmosphere. I forgot to ask if u all had cornbread and/or Tx toast. Ok, so i got my usual S. Tx meal, pork ribs and sausage....not...
The turkey and brisket were very flavorful and not dry at all. I loved their BBQ sauce and dont get me started on their banana pudding! It was amazing! My family and I will definitely be back.
