stopped in for lunch on our way to waco. best decision ever made. food was great, atmosphere was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! we grabbed some pastries to go and holy cow! the blackberry turnover was one of the best things to ever go in my mouth! we will definitely be making the drive from Mineola to eat here again

I am not sure why the reviews were so high at this place.. I walked in and they said they had a kids salad on the kids menu then said they didn’t and told me if my son wanted a salad it had to be the adult one because that was the only one on the menu.. he’s 6.
I ordered the lobster bisque. It had no lobster or lobster flavoring. It was just like a cheese broth.
Nothing was really great and the chicken on the salads was dry and they were out of all the house dressings. Waitresses were kind but our drinks ran out and had to stop her to get them refilled.

The food and service were excellent, but the atmosphere was exceptional. The location of the diner in Historic Corsicana reminded we of my life when my mother, sister, and I lived there with my grandparents in 1942-1945. The interior is also exceptional because modern drug stores don’t have a soda fountain serving wonderful treats most fully enjoyed on hot summer days!

My wife and I enjoyed the Brunch today. My wife chose Eggs Benedict, I chose The Jalapeño waffle and Chicken! Both dishes were off the chain delicious!

great place for lunch. very old store that was a soda shop back in the day. you can feel the history when you walk through the doors.
We are usually here twice a month. Good comfort food for breakfast at an old style diner. The biscuits are to die for! Most of the servers are energetic and attentive. The young lady that served us did not have energy to match the rest of the staff.
Parking: You can usually find a parking spot at breakfast time. Saturday's are a little different.
