Bay View Restaurant & Bar

We always head downtown ATX for special occasions but decided to head west to Marble Falls to Bayview for a birthday celebration. Immensely regretting our decision. The staff was lukewarm at best and the service was standard but without much else. Didn’t inquire if we were celebrating anything special so we didn’t offer that it was a birthday celebration. No cake or dessert was ordered. We had planned to have a celebratory cocktail at the bar after dinner but decided the atmosphere was so lackluster that we would celebrate at home. Whether it be for dinner or a special occasion, we were so disappointed that would not return for either.

We ate here for lunch and the food was good. But the patio seating and the view was amazing . They have a large space for indoor and outdoor dining.

The servers weren’t that attentive but they were really nice .

The service was amazing, I wish I remember our waitresses name! they went out of their way to help make the bachelorette feel special. Food and drinks were great and served promptly. The atmosphere was so nice. Would definitely go back again! This was in oct 2024.

Stuffed flounder & crispy reddish were excellent. The brewed at your table ice tea is outstanding. Carrot cake probably best I've ever had. Amazing view & server Laura was awesome! My new favorite restaurant.

I would highly recommend this place but it's not a normally priced place it is on the higher end but it makes up for the atmosphere and the quality of the food it's a great date night place!

The restaurant patio was beautiful and very clean and excellent service. The view of the sunset off the patio was worth coming. Meals were not over priced there was a great variety of pricing from handheld meals around $15 to entrees much higher but not too high. I had the handheld redfish with Cole slaw and it was perfect. My husband has the crab cake sliders but was not a total fan of the flavor. Overall the drinks, view and food was very good. I recommend coming.

Do the Churrasco Mixed grill for 2. Great beef, shrimp, fried lobster tail & yummy sauces. Wedge salad the best I've had. Tammy was a great wait person. Dined 4pm to catch sunset during CST. Don't miss this place. Been here several times & consistently great food, service & ambiance.

First we let the staff know that we were celebrating a wedding anniversary however there was no acknowledgment of that from the wait staff. Additionally i ordered the red snapper dish which was so hard i could have literally Frisbee(d) it across the room and injured someone. Now my husband and i have been going to this restaurant for the past say 3 years and it has gone from being one of our favorite dinning experiences slowly to just being an overpriced restaurant with a lovely view. The changed the seasonal crème brûlée to feature only a regular one. The brunch menu is just ok and now the rock hard snapper. Very sad. They are just another overpriced restaurant with a view more satisfying than any dish on its menu. Sad!

Our waitress was exceptional. Very attentive! We had a group of 8 and she handled everything with ease and very nice! Fish and steaks were good.

Wonderful food & drinks - great date night restaurant atmosphere and wonderful views.
