“Awesome hamburger. Half pound of fresh never frozen, beef on a delicious Hawaiian bun. Fries & onion rings also excellent. Our favorite Hill Country destination. It's a drive but worth every mile.”
“Skip the expensive breakfast at the resort and drive 5 minutes to this gem. While the ambiance is Food-truck rustic the breakfast tacos were generous and tasty. They have multiple salsas that are all equally yum! I look forward to making a return visit the next time we're in Horseshoe Bay.”
“This Subway was very nice!!! Ms July was so nice and she delivered a sandwich for me. Has been the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life!!! Thank you so much cottonwood Subway!!!”
“Love their chips! Almost like air puffs and addictive. Lots of choices on menu and also serves breakfast food. Their breakfast tacos are huge! Friendly staff.”
“Had the pizza and it was very good. They had one server working bar and tables. She was non stop. Always made sure we were good with drinks and checked in on us periodically. Men's bathroom was out of service. New to the area and this will be a regular stop for me.”
“Great food & service!! We were there for breakfast--around 9:30am & the place was packed. Seating was a little tight--but the food & server made up for that. I had 2 eggs scrambled, bacon & biscuit, came with gravy. Was very yummy!! Other 3 in the party got Spanish omelet--hashbrowns, biscuit or toast & salsa. I tried it---it was a little warm to taste. My sister could not eat hers, too hot. But the other 2 people ate theirs. Recommend this place!”
“Love this little place! Mother and daughter owned super sweet ladies. The coffee is great, and I LOVE the avocado toast (also great on a croissant!) Bring your laptop and zone out on studies or work! There isn't a drive-thru but it's still so much faster then the other shops in town. Highly recommend giving them a try!”
“When I say don’t not pass this place by!!!! We were in town from Houston and stopped by this place! It is legit!!!!!! Authentic Authentic Authentic! The food was flavorful and wonderful! The service was top tier! The people were a breath of fresh air!! I can say enough about it,. Definitely try it out!!!”
“We were looking for some coffee in marble falls in the afternoon and this seemed to be one of the few options. It's drive through only from what I could tell. It went fairly fast despite the line and the service was very friendly. I liked the coffee I got (latte w oat milk) and would go again if in the area.”
“Great iced coffee. Friendly service. Great location. Good vibe. The food selections are awesome and what you'd expect from a coffee shop.I liked the coffee so much that I left my resort regularly to get my morning caffeine from them instead of the garbage Starbucks that was in our hotel.Kynda is a good place.”
“First timer, very impressed! Here in MF for weekend getaway! Having lived in Japan, I'm picky on Japanese food but I was hungry for a taste! So I chose the chicken bento box and it was everything I remembered of enjoying bento box food! For what one gets, the price was great! Bentos are the way to go to experience a bit of Japanese food. Nothing was greasy as it can be with fried foods but no evidence of oil! May be lots to eat but I devoured it! Nice to see steady stream of late lunch or very early evening dinners coming in! Testament to Fuji's service & food! Server, Ashley, very attentive! Family owned. Extensive menu with lots to offer everyone! GO! U won't be disappointed!Parking: In a small strip center with ample spaceKid-friendliness: Kids seem to be enjoying”
“Absolutely love this place!! I refer every person I can here, every pizza I’ve tried has been cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The guys running it are always kind and fast and I love the music they play while you wait! Keep up the good work guys!”
“My sister is OBSESSED with their coffee. She always snapchats me with a nice big coffee. Girls recognize her too.Same prices as Starbucks but SO WORTH it! Much better value.”
“Easy to miss this little dive amongst all the small businesses surrounding 1431 in Kingsland, but made it my first destination of the day due to a recommendation as the best traditional Mexican restaurant in Kingsland. Firstly, this is a cash only (ATM within) and BYOB establishment. For the latter, no bar and I assume one can bring their own drinks but did not see anyone drinking beer. With 14 4 tops, the place is tiny and looks to be well managed and great staff. No frills dining interior but clean and plethora of decor. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. The menu is surprisingly very large so would be great to see how a small place executes during peak times. Traditional options only so if you're looking for fancy, this is not it. I ordered the tortilla soup, (3) Verde "green" enchiladas, half plate nachos, guac and queso. The chicken enchiladas were simply outstanding, perfectly seasoned pure white rotisserie chicken, with great tasting refried beans and rice. The verde sauce great. I got the standard queso which was okay. The guac was outstanding. The complimentary chips and salsa were okay. The Nachos need some help and were nothing special for the price $6.99. The soup was outstanding perfectly seasoned and plenty of chicken and avocados. Ticket time for entree was a timely 8min. Overall, I love family owned and operated businesses and recommend this one. While I'm sticking to 4* review, I simply need to come back to try other items for a complete review. Nice job owners. Will be back. Prices for entrees are good.”
“Great coffee. We made this a daily stop while we were here on vacation. Their mochas are top-notch. Milk was scalded once, but all of the other drinks were fantastic.”
“I come here almost every Sunday to get my favorite Cinna-bomb (special drink). The service is always full of smiles and polite and the drink is almost always perfect.”
“Great breakfast burritos! This is a true family business. Everyone from the grandparents (Chuspy) down to their grandson works here. I have only been for breakfast but I love it. They are always just enough food and they taste great. You go in and it’s build your own style. I love that I get to pick my favorite options ( I love bacon- sausage- eggs- cheese - with the jalapeno salsa). Next visit I am trying the chorizo! - make the stop support a local place. They are great.”
“Absolutely delicious! Eight people in our group, ages 8-43 years and everyone loved their breakfast. Some of the best breakfast tacos/burritos we have ever had. The flour tortillas were to die for. The breakfast plates are pretty big. Couldn’t finish mine but the refried beans ?!! Also the breakfast burritos are a great traditional size, not small, and full of ingredients! We are traveling thru today and so glad we stopped at this food truck! Don’t pass it up, it’s amazing.”
“Man, what can I say, this place has the best tacos and the best salsa of any place I've ever visited and I have lived in Texas for 15+ years. Always friendly, always great food, and always a great value! Sometimes a little slow in the summer months because the secret is out and everybody knows that this is the place to go! Keep up the great work and we'll keep buying tacos!”
“Run don’t walk to the Potatoe Shack!! We had chicken and dumplings today. It was melt in your mouth delicious!! The blueberry muffins and peach cobbler muffins are the stuff dreams are made of. Don’t even get me started on her cinnamon rolls!! I’m gonna have to buy bigger pants thanks to the Potatoe ”
“Delicious!!! Fresh ingredients give each flavor an amazing taste! I had to get a second cone to try a couple extra flavors. ? Definitely a great ice cream stop! Tons of fresh fruit and ice cream bars I didn't have room to taste test but I'm sure they're delicious as well.”
“The food has always been very good at Rea's Bar & Grill. All three of us were very satisfied. The meals were served hot with seasoned fries, which were excellent. The only issue we had was that the service was slow. No one asked me if I wanted another adult beverage. We will return to the restaurant. The food is excellent and will not send you to the poor house.”
“I've passed this place many times & when I finally decided to stop here it made my day! The service was friendly, the food was hands down made with love (which is the best kind of food) & the atmosphere was a nice breezy cloudy day with all of the butterflies out ? 10/10 can't wait to eat here again!”
“Had to come back from San Antonio. To drink a few Empty promises. Well worth it. Thanks for giving me an excuse to come back. Food is awesome as well.Vegetarian options: Truffle sprouts and truffle tacos were on point.”
“This brewery is worth the drive to this beautiful town. If you like beer, this is a must stop. The variety of beers is broad, and they are all good. The facility is not beautiful from the road, but you can see they spend their money on making good beer.”
“We have been here several times for breakfast and it was always great. This time we had lunch and they didn’t disappoint. Chicken fried steak. Turkey club. Sweet potato hash.”
“Good local frozen yogurt shop. Bunches of flavors! Lots of toppings! (Could've been more 'frozen' but it's ok for 106 outside). Go here, eat local!”
“Very delicious, fries perfect, potato fold taco(sausage and kraut), was really great, and the mushroom burger was greasy perfection ?Sorry the picture is terrible, but had to eat as soon as we saw it .”
“Patio was under construction whwn we stopped by for a pickup order. Pizza was ready on time and good quality! Should have grabbed some parmesan and spicy red pepper to add some additional flavor.”
“The food was excellent and perfectly portioned. The service was spot on, efficient and friendly. The cocktails we ordered were fantastic and well crafted. The view was amazing on the sunny day we went. This place was incredible and we had a great meal. We actually made reservations to go back the next day on the way out because we think the food and view is one of, if not the best in Horseshoe Bay and we didn't want to risk going anywhere else on vacation.”
