“We passed by when driving from Enchanted Rock from Austin. I had high hopes as we love a good Texas barbecue and the reviews were great. We tried the brisket, brisket taco, potato salad and Mac and cheese (normally comes with chopped brisket and barbecue sauce but we got it on the side).

Wouldn’t come here for the food, but for the vibes. The brisket was a disappointment - way too dry! Mac and cheese was delicious though.

Otherwise - cute spot and great for our toddler to run around! The staff was very nice and friendly.”

“Oh my!! Now what a surprise that was to the tastebuds!! I didn’t know what was missing till I stumbled upon this little taste of Italy across the lake from me. My salad was filled with hand sliced vegetables cut to perfection. Following was a 10” Chicago style deep dish three meat pizza (shareable for two). I almost placed a second order that same night it was so delicious. Just don’t tell too many people because this hidden Gem is worth the trip or delivery and can be our little secret here in the highland Lakes!!!”

“Five of us ate here on Saturday afternoon. We were the only table in the dining room. The food was its usual high quality but the waitress was totally incompetent. She brought the food to the wrong person, got 2 of our 5 orders wrong and never refilled our tea. Her name is Bailley and she needs to be retrained at the very least.”

“I booked their event room for Thursday May 16th, for a surprise 70th Birthday Party for my wife. We pulled the "surprise" off, and had about 35 people in attendance. Leading up to the party, the staff was always friendly and very helpful to me and my Co-Host, who handled the decorations setup. We could not be happier with the food (open menu), drinks AND especially the SERVICE. Rosie did an amazing job, from beginning to end, keeping up with orders and food delivery, kept on top of drinks and individual needs and requests, and even orchestrated the "Happy Birthday" song. I was thoroughly pleased, and the cost turned out lower that I had anticipated, which was icing on the cake. I will certainly be recommending Julie's Cocina, a fabulous restaurant to others, for just great casual dining and especially for special events. “I just ordered sandwiches for my husband, my son, and I. There was just 1 teen working, he looked busy. I just had a pickup order and they were ready when I got there. Let me just say HANDS DOWN that these were the best sandwiches any of us have EVER had. I regret not getting that teenagers name because he certainly deserves recognition (and probably a raise). I've been eating subway my entire life and it has never come close to being this tasty. 10/10. I hope that guy is working every time we go from now on!”

“We’ve been to D’Lites in Austin so we were so happy when we found out they opened one in Marble Falls and was able to go when we were in Marble Falls for the weekend. We love this place. We love this concept. The soft serve ice cream is so good and you don’t feel guilty at all since it’s low cal/low carb/low sugar. So many options. They always have rotating flavors, and they are all good! Friendly staff! Such a fun place for everyone! This is a must when in Marble Falls!”

But when you are jonesing for good sushi, this place fits the bill. The sweet Asian couple that owns and run Fuji really care about your experience and want to provide excellence (in a Marble Falls kind of way). We love it and try to visit weekly.”

“This place is a gem! Loved it! Don’t let the simple facade on the outside fool you. Inside you’ll find more than enough flavors of delicious homemade ice cream, slushies and more. We tried and loved the Ferraro, Ube, Cafe, Oreo, and Queso (like a sweet cream). They only take cash so be sure you have cash on you BUT, the store next door has an ATM inside if you need. Highly recommend and hope to be back before our trip to Granite Shoals is done.”

From getting to know the owners/their family, the great management and friendly employees… it truly is a gem for family fun. They also didn’t spare any expenses when it comes to the amphitheater! If you love music has much as we do, you will love this place because you get to jam and rock on 🤘. We spend just about every weekend out there - usually front row 😉. Great entertainment (Suede, country bands, local talent), big open turf for kids to run, food trucks and drinks = our favorite place around! There is something for everyone! It is also a great place for homeschool play dates with the playscape, mill tours, cider and donuts!”
