We passed by when driving from Enchanted Rock from Austin. I had high hopes as we love a good Texas barbecue and the reviews were great. We tried the brisket, brisket taco, potato salad and Mac and cheese (normally comes with chopped brisket and barbecue sauce but we got it on the side).
Wouldn’t come here for the food, but for the vibes. The brisket was a disappointment - way too dry! Mac and cheese was delicious though.

We really loved the brisket and brisket Mac and cheese. The outside of the brisket was salty, but I like it that way so no complaints. The chipotle slaw was a favorite, but spicy. Potato salad was good, regular mustard kind, nothing special. The turkey was moist and tender, definitely better than most places.
If your from out of town this is a must stop! Top 3 best BBQ!
