Hooper's Reviews
Amazing food, has a cool scene up stairs from the movie.
If we lived closer we would be eating at Hoopers all the time. Always looking forward to a trip to see the house but mainly for the food and friendly atmosphere.

Hooper's is not just a place for horror fans; it is a great restaurant with a unique history. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The blackened steak remains a favorite, while the shrimp and grits are still not recommended. The restaurant is located in an old house known for being part of horror movie history, and it has great vibes. The brunch is excellent, and sitting in the 'chicken room' enhances the experience. The parking is convenient, with a big gravel lot available. The chicken fried steak, brisket tacos, and chainsaw margarita come highly recommended. Fried pickles, with delicious fried jalapeños, add to the menu's appeal. Customers praise the Po-Boy with fried shrimp, which is fresh, crispy, and served with a jaw-dropping remoulade sauce that has a wonderful spice. The restaurant’s atmosphere can be lively and a bit loud, but the delicious food and friendly service make it a solid spot for good grub. The hospitality is upscale, with energetic and proper staff, and many visitors enjoy returning multiple times, especially for the porch nightcap. Overall, Hooper's offers good prices and is perfect for any occasion.
