This was my first time eating here. I always find small local places and this place does not disappoint.
Waitress was super friendly. I had a burger and crinkle fries. One of the best burgers i’ve had. Definitely not frozen like most places. Today was Valentine’s Day they gave all of the ladies a long stemmed rose.
Hot Rodz is hands down my favorite restaurant. I live in San Antonio, but travel quite a bit. Any time I’m within an hour of Crandall, I make a point to stop in and enjoy a Club Salad with Italian Dressing. The atmosphere is always fun and lovely, and the food is second to none. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out if you’re in the area.
Update: I also found a hair in the food and the girl on the phone said “well no one here has silver color hair “. I could also hear them talking about me while I was left on “hold” while she talked to a manger. The girl hung up on me and did not care at all that I heard them talking bad about me.I have never had such a bad experience being here.

Hot Rodz Diner LLC is a nice, friendly place in a small town that welcomes service dogs. The food is amazing, with excellent customer service and a fun, lovely atmosphere. The Terrell location impresses with delicious classic hamburgers that are juicy and perfectly done, served with tasty onion rings and home fries. Breakfast is served all day, and the chicken fried steak comes highly recommended, along with the Club Salad with Italian Dressing. Although the service may be slow at times, the wait is worth it for the good food. Prices are better than the chains that try to duplicate this place, making it a wonderful locally owned diner. The nostalgic atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, ensuring that visitors feel right at home.
