“My family and I were checking out downtown Crandall and stumbled upon this really neat restaurant. We could smell the food from across the street. That was enough to decide where we were to eat for lunch. My kids each had a taco plate, and my wife and I ordered the beef fajitas for two. The food tasted like it was homemade. The rice was not your typical Spanish rice; you could tell effort was made. Fajitas were tender, juicy, and flavorful. Needless to say, nothing was left behind on our plates. We will be visiting again.“

“Normal experience at a smaller sized Mexican place. They do speak both Spanish, and at the least, enough English to communicate with you to get your order. Which is usually right from my experiences. A while back (possibly a yearish or more ago, their red salsa you'd get with your chips was literally set your mouth on freaking fire hot that I'd eat one chip with it on it and couldn't take anymore, this last time I went (past month or so) there red salsa was pretty damn good I mean it was still hot don't get me wrong, but it was right there at the limit of heat that I like, and finished every bit of it that came with my quesadilla, which was of a pretty good size I think and had plenty of shredded chicken and cheese in ever single bite.“

“My wife and I recently went to this Chuy’s for lunch and had a great experience. This is a smaller location but performs as good as any other chuys. Be prepared to you have a small wait During the times on the weekend.

I ordered the boom boom chicken, enchiladas and they were great. We also got an order of quesadillas and Tres cheesecake The quesadillas are similar in size to a taco and you get four or five of them with the order and they have a light fry on them. My wife really enjoyed them.

For dessert, we had a tres leches cake and it was phenomenal. Came out, served nice and cold as well as a chilled plate

Our service was great. We even had a waiter that was in training to help out and they both did a great job.

We will continue going to this location rather than dallas or Plano.“

The general manager and the cashier taking the order Maria and Jaqueline were so nice and sweet. They come to the table several times to ask how everything was going good. And if I needed anything to let them know.

“A lovely little pupuseria. I finally had the chance to stop in for their tamales salvadorenos. Steamed in banana leaves, these are soft and contain both chicken and steamed potatoes. The texture will remind a gringo like me of a chicken pot pie. (The filling, to judge by tge staff pointing it out to me, has been an issue with customers expecting the beef tamales Mexicano served by other places. El Salvador tamales normally use chicken.) Served to the table with bottles of salsa Roja and salsa verde, both delicious. Free tortilla chips and salsa picante are provided, of course.A small but important side note: If you're as white as I am, you'll want to rely on the printed menu. Not all of the staff speak good English as yet, though they try.“
