“The short: Fresh Sushi, Busy Vibe, Needs Better Service
The long: Tried Sushi Tao for the first time after seeing it on a gluten-free app. I can’t believe it’s been open 17 years and I never knew about it! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and my boyfriend loved the Cowboy Roll. The place was packed, so clearly a local favorite.
Service was the only downside. We had to ask multiple times for basics like chopsticks and soy sauce, and three different people tried to take our order. Staff seemed stretched thin. Also, while they do have gluten-free soy sauce, the servers weren’t very knowledgeable about GF options.
We’ll definitely be back for the sushi but hopefully they get more help soon!“

“This place is super clean, the cashier was attentive and very polite ( you don’t get people like that no more) also the general manager Mr Luis Cruz was professional and attentive. I could see the difference of other Pei Wei’s management. I saw Mr Cruz helping in the kitchen, front and on the floor. Thank you for the great service and flavorful 🍱 food“

“Food is delicious, but they need to work at cleaning the tables more. We come back because the food is so good. But our daughter(3) sometimes eats off the table and she’ll get sick the next day. This has happened almost every time we’ve come here. Still will come to eat here, but with disinfectant wipes for the table🤣.“

“My 13year old son and I went absolute ham ,on 6 various rolls, a Dragon Heart and a monkey brain. Everything was spot on. Double yum, Burleson roll, temptation , Alaska. All were absolutely Bangers. The hibachi is always on point also. Will definitely return.“

“I ordered delivery tonight, and everything went fairly smoothly. The only problem I had was that part of my order was forgotten. It happens, so I called up there and was greeted with apologies and a promise to make it right. They were going to try and have the rest of my order delivered, but couldn't at that point so I got a return call to inform me they couldn't deliver the rest. Even though I did not plan to drive anywhere this evening, I went ahead and drove up there since it's not far at all. Again, I was greeted with apologies for the mishap. I ended up ordering more food while I was there anyways. The food is delicious, staff was friendly, and I was happy with how quickly they resolved the slight mishap. I will be ordering from them again.“
