“First time to have had some good shrimp egg fu young in Texas. The portions were large and I could barely finish one. As I was thinking about leaving a review I opened my fortune cookie and it said “Follow your instincts” haha. On top of that, they have real fortune cookies. My dinner was perfect with plenty left over. Kisses to the chef!“

“The shrimp mix fried rice at Skillman Wok almost had me hooked. The rice is fried to perfection, carrying the natural subtle sweetness of the grains, and mixed with delicious fresh vegetables and seafood such as shrimp, clams, and fish. The dish has a gentle, refined, and enticing flavor.“

“Amazing! My husband and I tried it last night. We are both from the East Coast and have been in TX for the last 2 years. We were starting to give up on finding a good Chinese food restaurant here, thankfully we stumbled on this place. Portions are PLENTIFUL, and flavor is AMAZING! It’s not East Coast Chinese however it’s our new Go to spot. Definitely going again. And the price was great we both ate and had leftovers for $24.“

“Establishment was small and foxy m cozy but very active from all of the pick up orders. Waitress was very pleasant.

Dietary restrictions: I didn't have any food restrictions but wanted to say that servings were great size, taste was on point and they were very fast! Plenty of meat. Not like some of these other places now days.

I live literally 58 minutes away but would definitely drive and go back!

“Today was the second time I have visited Lucky Wok. The first time, I had the Hunan chicken, which was fairly good. A decent ratio of sauce, meat, and veggies. This time, I had the roast pork with mushrooms. I thought they might add some carrots, onions, or some other veggies as a little filler between the pork and the mushrooms, but nope. lol! I got exactly what I asked for, roast pork, mushrooms, and some sauce. If you like mushrooms, definitely go for it. The sauce was a dark smooth sauce, possibly oyster sauce as a base. The steamed rice is pretty average. No real complaints at all about any of the food. The lady who has rang me up twice is nice, asks if you need soy sauce, adds a fork to your bag, etc. the interior of the restaurant is a bit dingy. The menu above the counter is clearly fairly old. They still have the plastic shielding up on the counter from quarantine days, and there still aren’t many chairs or tables out in the dining area. Overall, it’s definitely worth a try. I’ll absolutely be coming in from time to time to keep trying various menu selections.“

“While the restaurant may not have the cleanest appearance, the service and food quality are great. It's the kind of hidden gem that's often talked about. The food had good flavor and tasted freshly made. We ordered off the lunch menu and the portions are generous.. come check it out.“

She brought us the check so we can pay and I always put $0 on tip on the receipt and leave cash on the table. “I've been coming to this hole-in-the-wall place for years now. I've tried their other dishes which is good, but I always find myself ordering the lunch Teriyaki chicken bowl.

I believe they make the Teriyaki from scratch cause it's so good. I always order extra sauce just because of it. The chicken is cut very thin, and what I like is how sticky yet fluffy the rice is. I've made sushi with the rice I don't finish.“

“I've been wanting to come here for a while. Every time I shop at Rainbow or Ashley's, I say imma try it out but never do, the outside appeal isn't the fanciest but ususlly the goid spots are like that. I read over reviews like 20x and was still undecided. Today 3/11/24 I had time to stop and I'm not disappointed. I will go back!

I’m having the rest of my dinner for lunch today! The flavor? Immaculate! I used two soy sauce packets (my usual) but the rice is fine without it. The chicken is flavorful, and decently sized. Fresh cebolla, and veggies. I will definitely visit again! I’ve just moved to ft.worth and asian food is basically my comfort food.
