I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant. The service, the family atmosphere that the owners have created is a great bonus to the delicious food. I have lived in Cuero for two years and I will undoubtedly say Maya's is a Cuero must!Kid-friendliness: Simply family oriented, a great experience for people of all ages. I give the place a 10!
A little too noisy is all the bad that I can say about this traditional Mexican restaurant in Cuero, Texas. The food was average but good. The chicken fajita tacos contained cubed chicken rather than fajita strips, which was slightly disappointing, and the plate was served without pico on the side. I moved here from Houston 5 months ago and this is my favorite place to eat in town. The food is consistently top notch. The service is good, especially for a small town. My favorite dish is the carne asada, it comes with a cheese enchilada and your choice of 2 sides for $16! I always get refried beans and french fries, yum ?. But everything I've tried so far is really good, haven't tried everything yet, but I'm working on it! Oh, and the frozen margaritas are really good!...read full review
