Bruuuuuuhhhh! This place is amazing. The prices are unbelievably affordable and the food was unmatched. Delicious!
If you're looking for fresh, flavorful, and authentic Mexican food, Leija's delivers. Everything on the table was spot on:
• The Quesadilla: Perfectly toasted and loaded with cheesy goodness.
• The Taco Plate: Crispy shells, perfectly seasoned beef, and great sides of rice, beans, and fresh guacamole.
• Enchiladas Verdes: My wife got these and they were incredible—perfectly tangy, flavorful green sauce and excellent quality.
Generous portions and awesome quality. We will definitely be back!

It’s the first spot around here that doesn't miss. The consistency is what does it for me; you know exactly what you’re getting, and it’s always fire.

My favorite local spot! Always clean, always affordable! The food is good, not extravagant but it is always consistent. The service can be slow but we have been eating here for 10+ years and we love this place!

Honestly? We didn’t even try the food. My family of 6, we were looking for a New Mexican place to try and as soon as we walked in, the atmosphere and service was just plain bad. My aunt walked up to the counter to ask the waitress if we could sit wherever we would like or if they would take us to a table because we were being ignored. Even after my aunt went up to ask the young lady, she took her sweet time to turn to my aunt and answer a “yes”, we could sit wherever we would like. On one side of the restaurant there was already people sitting there and there was even a long table to fit my family. But we wanted an area for ourselves and the other side was empty, so when we were heading to the empty side, the young lady said “there’s a long table already” but we just needed to put a table together so we could all fit. As soon as we sat, we noticed that the young lady started to make faces at us, pointed at us and was talking about us to the other workers who also kept looking at us, she basically called the whole kitchen staff because people kept getting out the kitchen. Which for one is completely unprofessional, even for a small restaurant like that. We decided to get up and leave because as Mexicans, we always love to give back to our community and to support any Mexican restaurant but this was just plain disappointment. As a community, in service and in atmosphere was just sad and like I said, disappointing. With all the good reviews, we went in with high hopes but now I suggest you make your own judgment on the place and the service. Hopefully you guys will have a better experience than we did.

The food always taste fresh and homemade. The prices by far are the best around. The portion sizes are well worth your money. Theres a nice comforting dining room home cooking atmosphere.

The food is amazing. I would have given 5 stars for service (because my first time getting take out from this place was top notch) but my second time getting take out was Wednesday evening 2/18/26. I just got back in town from a customer meeting and my husband knew I didn’t want to cook. I called first at 8:30 to make sure they would still accept a take out order. They were kind to take my order. When I got there around 8:45 they only had one couple dining in right before close. I went up to the counter to pick up my order. You could tell they were doing their closing tasks and the young lady that came to the counter was not having the best day from how she greeted me. She could have been upset at the couple dining there and it had nothing to do with me but I felt un welcome. She probably assumed I was about to place an order. My smile immediately faded after how she greeted me. I purchased the combination fajita meal for two (just chicken and shrimp). Her attitude changed once she realized I was just picking up an order. I still was sad about the experience and could not appreciate her change in attitude. I paid and left an 87% tip. Why did I even tip? Because I genuinely felt bad about coming in late before they were to close even though I called in advance to make sure it was okay to still order take out. I tipped because I hoped it would help her to maybe not greet customers the way she greeted me whether she was having a bad day or not. This post is not to discourage you from trying their food. The food is amazing. I am posting in hopes that her leaders look at it as a coaching opportunity for her. I am not sure if I will go back for a while because of that experience. I hope whoever caused her to have such a bad day…goes back to make it right. The fajita meal we ate that night was delicious. Five stars to the chef! Treat others how you’d like to be treated. - Peace.

Pretty authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes. Prices are very affordable. For 2 large cups of agua frescas and two hefty meals, chips and salsa all for $40 including tip is a great deal compared to other restaurants. Dining in is always a pleasure.

Awesome prices! My wife and I ate fajitas for 2 with a coke and a tea... ticket was 35 bucks with the tip! Cozy little place with great food and friendly service! Not a big name franchise. It is a owner operated restaurant with quality food in a clean facility! Highly Recommended!

This is authentic Mexican food, at last. After years in the Montgomery County area searching for the perfect authentic restaurant, I found it yesterday. This place is priced right and the food is perfect!!! I loved it. They have a customer for life!
