Food is typically pretty good but if you order to-go, check everything before you leave! They regularly forget items or worse, give you someone else's order. Desserts have been a miss for me each time (burnt cobbler) but their Texas Tater is so good, we keep going back. Be sure to order extra BBQ sauce or you won't have enough.
Drove on by a lot when I know that the 'hole in the wall' places are usually good eatin'...and Willie's sure is! I really need to get pictures before the fam digs in because my son got a monstrosity of burger, brisket and sausage on a bun that made him such a happy guy, even after driving 2500 miles in one shot to get home. I’ve only been there once so far, but the Rib Plate was phenomenal!! I’m 78 and have eaten ribs in lots of places, some very good, but these are the first ones I ever cleaned off to the bones!! Tender, flavorful, and just plain delicious! I definitely plan to go back. Want to try the peach cobbler, which is one of my favorite desserts. It wasn’t ready when I was there (they make their own).
