Everything I’ve tried here so far was excellent! Okra soup with pounded yams was my favorite.

I am delighted to see African Cuisine in the Cypress area. I’m a connoisseur of African cuisine and a lover of it! I would get some African food when I don’t feel like cooking and I can tell you that Bantu House is the real deal! The space is new and clean. The cashier was very helpful and nice. The food was five stars across the board. I’ll be back for sure!

The food was delish. I got the talapia with Jollof rice. It was a huge portion for $20 bucks! Service was welcoming and the food came out fresh.

Literally the best fish I have ever had in my life. The jollof was mid but that fish was a 100/100.

Very chill place that everyone needs to try. The food and spices are fantastic. Lary was also very helpful with making our experience as traditional as possible.

Lary was amazing and so helpful- it was our first time having authentic Cameroon cuisine. It was delicious, fresh and so flavorful! Service, great location and amazing food! We ordered the beef suya for an appetizer and it was melt in your mouth! We will be coming back and trying everything on the menu! Amazing!

Food Poisoning: I ordered Egusi w/ Oxtail from this place via Uber eats 3 weeks ago. (This review is over due). Upon arrival it didn’t smell right, then I tasted it and it tasted nothing like traditional Egusi, it actually tasted spoiled, the oxtails were rock hard you could barely bite let alone eat them. I took a few more bites and stopped eating it bc I said it doesn’t smell or taste right. 12 hours later I had full blown food poisoning and I had nothing else to eat but this the day prior. This place sold me bad food! I never received a refund from Uber eats as I waited longer than 2 days to report the issue- so the owners response (that I was refunded by UberEats yesterday) is an indication that they are often getting complaints about food quality as I am being confused for another customer that complained. They are rated 3.7 on UberEats for a Reason. BEWARE OF FOOD POISONING. Owner should apologize for making ppl sick!
