DJ has made 4 cakes for our families special occasions. The first time I called her it was for my son's birthday. He wanted a nine layer decadent chocolate cake with lots of layers and icing. I didn't know what to expect since we had never eaten one of her cakes. WOW! When I picked up the cake, all I could think was holy cow, this cake is huge. It was so tall, round, and over all BIG. Then we finally got to cut into and eat it. It was the best cake we have ever had. I am not joking we fought over eating it for the next 24 hours. There were only 6 of eating a cake that could have fed 30 people. It was simply delicious. Our next cake was for my Granddaughter's 1st b-day. We had two cakes one for the baby and one for the adults. It was the same experience, if not better. Our next cakes followed suit. She even made a Star Wars cake for my son equipped with a Star Wars character on top. (And it was a difficult character to find.) DJ takes the time to show you pictures or look at pictures of what you want and then she creates a master piece that is so delicious. I will never use another bakery!!! We have already started to plan another family members birthday. This person has significant allergies to sugar, dairy, and gluten. She has been in touch with me about the ingredients she will be using and then giving me choices about different flavors for this cake. DJ is amazing!!!

Derrina took the time to sit down with us for our tasting and to plan out our cake design and the number of cookies. The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious! They perfectly executed the design that we wanted and it turned out to be very elegant. And the cake was so flavorful -- like we knew it would be!
