La Maria Mexican Restaurant is a place with hella good food, especially the tomatillo salsa. The staff is very friendly, fast, and super welcoming, providing attentive service that enhances the dining experience. The Tex Mex dishes are difficult to find in Cypress, but La Maria serves very tasty and filling meals. The jalapeno slices with queso are a hit, and the sampler appetizer and quesadillas are worth trying. The enchiladas verdes are excellent, and the chicken soup is described as out of this world. The food was great, and the kids loved the rice/beans and fries. The shrimp cocktail was really enjoyed, and the churros were good. This incredible restaurant offers authentic Mexican food. The staff are soo friendly and really helpful. They had no trouble accommodating everyone. The food was simply delicious. Get the quesadilla!!!
