La Maria Mexican Restaurant

La Maria Mexican Restaurant is a place with hella good food, especially the tomatillo salsa. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The Tex Mex dishes are difficult to find in Cypress, but La Maria serves very tasty and filling meals. The jalapeno slices with queso are a hit, and the sampler appetizer and quesadillas are worth trying. Despite the aloof service and low energy staff, the restaurant offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, making it worth the drive when in NW Houston.
