Walked straight up to the counter and ordered from the steam tables. The 2 ladies were friendly. 5 barbacoa street tacos with avocado and grilled onions. Decent barbacoa but just a tad bit too fatty.I picked out about 1/3 of the fat out of the tacos, what was left did have good flavor. Quite the contrary to reviews, this place does NOT have the best breakfast tacos. Presentation is good but the food has no flavor. The red sauce just tastes like "red" (no flavor at all). With a burrito all I tasted was salt from the pieces of bacon. Chepes off of Roberts Rd has the best authentic food in town. Hands down.
I used to come here all the time for breakfast. Their fresh made tacos were outstanding. Since the switch to pre-made eggs, they just don't taste the same. Still good and worth the cost, but only something I get every now and then when I need a fix.
