Food was so amazing. Every bite was outstanding. Our waitress was absolutely underwhelming. Extremely dismissive. Didn’t introduce herself (I know her name because of our check - Mel), she would just place items down and walk away, we would order and she would then walk away without asking if we were done ordering. She was just very rude and just seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Very monotone and every question we asked seemed like a bother to her. We would go back for the food and ask for a different waitress, just not Mel.

The sashimi is excellent. Seriously, some of the best I've had in Texas. Fresh, generous slices, and beautifully presented. We had tuna, yellowtail, & salmon sashimi as well as toro, salmon roe, & unagi sushi. Every bit of it was delicious! On top of the great food, the service was excellent, the staff was friendly. This is the type of locally owned restaurant everyone should visit. Highly recommended and I will be returning the next time I am in the area.

I believe this is the third time we have visited this restaurant. Once again, the food was excellent and the pricing was acceptable. The young lady who served us was pleasant and very attentive towards us. She seemed truly happy to be waiting on us. I wish I could remember her name but I cannot. I will definitely visit this establishment again.

Honest first impression was not too good. The place smelled weird, like a toilet. Hostess was nice but the server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. It was kinda empty so the food came out quick! The food was decent, so I thought… We had the spicy edamame, the crab puffs, and the a sushi roll. Those were good. My husband had the shrimp fried rice. However, a couple hours later, my husband is throwing up and sweating horribly. He got food poisoning after eating here. idk if it was bad shrimp or what but I don’t think we will be back here again…
