Filter bathrooms in disrepair, small screens and staff that was rude and lacked capabilities to work a concessions stand.
Pretty good place for the whole family!
It's in a very convenient location- food, shops, parking, etc.
An amazing theater! We watch a 70mm presentation of The Odyssey and it was a wonderful experience. The print looked amazing and the sound was also great. Definitely recommend watching this here. Excited to see what future 70mm prints they bring into this theater. We sat in Row J
My fiance and I came here to watch the odyssey and we loved it! Staff was super friendly and the theater was overall pretty clean (besides the empty redbull can next to me in the cup holder). We are already making plans to come back to this theater again!
Screening was free so take it with a grain of salt
Great location
I held the premiere of my film, Wong Place Wong Time, at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas on June, 29, 2026 and manager Adam Conway went above and beyond from start to finish. He was professional, attentive, and on top of every detail — communicating clearly throughout and making what could've been a stressful night feel completely seamless for me, my cast, and my crew.
It's rare to find someone who cares that much about getting things right. If you're hosting an event at the Angelika, ask for Adam — he'll take great care of you.
Thank you, Adam, for helping make our premiere a night to remember!
The place has gone down hill! Do not buy a ticket in theater one- smells like mold so bad we could not stay. $35 for two tickets! Stale popcorn being served. Everything worn out, seats torn up. Just felt filthy. Like a dollar theatre in the 90s.
Angelika Dallas is a wonderful theater and a true supporter of independent film, nonprofit organizations, and local film festivals. I really appreciate that they provide space for meaningful films and community-centered events that might not always be shown in larger commercial theaters.
The atmosphere is classy, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying independent and international cinema. It is more than just a movie theater — it is an important cultural space that helps bring people together through film, art, and community engagement.
Highly recommend supporting Angelika Dallas!
This a really fun place to watch movies. I recently went there to see The Devil Wears Prada 2. Parking was a challenge since so many shops have opened in the area. But parking was free.

Went to the Devil wears Prada 2. It was great and clean. Theater seats were kind of outdated.
Th area and ambience was good
Truly unique theater with equally unique events. Severely underrated and overlooked for the bigger chains, but the tickets are not as procey, great rewards program and events - literally a lot of them are free! Don't sleep on this place, especially for date nights.
I go to the Angelika for alot of Advanced Screenings. Love the size of the theatre rooms.
This was honestly the worst allergic reaction I’ve ever had in a movie theater. The place had a really strong, weird smell like old chemicals or a skating rink and within minutes I started sneezing nonstop.
My eyes swelled up badly and I felt completely overwhelmed and uncomfortable the entire time. I had to leave the movie early because it just kept getting worse and I couldn’t sit there anymore.
Something seriously seems off with the air quality or ventilation in that building. I’ve never reacted like that anywhere else, and it completely ruined the experience.
