Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars for service was because I was told I couldn't eat my vegan food I brought with me (I was a part of a group of 5) because they don't like outside food. I understand that. They need to step up their game and add some more options for vegans. Side note, I was the one that recommended the group eat there. I ordered a beer and fries as well, so it was only the vegan burger I brought in that was the issue.Other than that, wonderful place and experience.

Someone recommended this place to me. So, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I was sadly disappointed. The service was slow, even though they were not very busy. The waitress barely acknowledged me. Their choices of sides were all frozen. The food came out QUICK! In less than 5 minutes! But then, I realized why. The burger patty was mutilated, in order to cook it faster, I assume. The sweet potato waffle fries were bland. Definitely, NOT WORTH, the high pricing..

I don't get out to Deep Ellum often, but I was looking for a late lunch and got recommended to go to Angry Dog. It was relatively quiet for the mid-afternoon, and the server was polite and helpful. There's a lot of eye-catching things on the menu, but corned beef usually wins for me! The flavor was fantastic, I just wish the slices were layered throughout instead of stacked in the middle.

Went for lunch, the parking at lunch was easy. I sat at the bar, the service was prompt and courteous. It was very clean and organized. I saw the menu online and knew my selection and it did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised. My worries about being to barsy, were laid to rest. Give 'em a try !Parking: It's on a one way street and the parking sign was highly visible for a lot on the left directly across from the Angry Dog

Amazing little Bar Restaurant love there burgers and way better then another place in deep ellum and the fact they take cash made my experience there a lot better.
Stopped in Friday night for a quick bite to eat and a beer with family. Started off with a bowl of chili and fried pickle chips. The chili was awesome. Seemingly simple with finely ground beef but packed with flavor. The waiter Vincent was on point and super quick with everything. For dinner I had a sausage sandwich which had homemade mustard and sauerkraut. Wife had a salad and chicken fingers. I highly recommend the Angry Dog for excellent food and better wait staff!
