While at first the server was great, as the evening wore on misses meals and drink orders made the evening awkward. The food was good but the rush of getting the next reservation to our table was off putting.
The ambiance: 10/10.
Food was pretty good, we liked the trout, good combination of textures with a nice spicy bite. Pasta was nice, but a bit bland. Wagyu steak was surprisingly chewy. Everything was ok, until they served a dessert, pineapple cake: bright orange chunks of dough, sticky, underbaked, paired with whipped something, bitter and sour at the same time. My daughter put it nicely, “it’s ok to experiment, but you don’t always have to serve it”

Seated right by the cold opening and closing door when the place was pretty empty even though I made a reservation. The thanksgiving themed drink was not pleasant to drink. The waiter kept having to be called back in the middle of leaving for us to ask for more drinks and food. He kept trying to dart asap. Overall, subpar experience for somewhere this expensive trying to be classy.
