We had an unbelievable meal at Shoyo. Chef Kenny really blew us away with his innovative combinations, especially the shaved ankimo course. Chef Jimmy and his staff’s hospitality was beyond generous and we can’t wait to return!

The service is top notch from the moment you walk in the door! We were greeted with a warm welcome including a choice between sake and sparkling wine while we mingled and awaited our seating. The food repeatedly left me speechless and, combined with the service, is WELL worth the already reasonable price. Went for my birthday in October. It's a prix fixe/omakase style Place that requires reservations ahead of time. There are food add ons and cocktails that can also be chosen.The presentation is amazing (see photos), the portions seem small but there are 12 of them so by the end of the meal it is very satisfying. The chefs provided interesting banter throughout the meal.Will go back again some day.
