This was my 4th time in Avanti for the past year and last 3 times it was absolutely amazing. Food was great , volume it good and atmosphere was delightful. However, last time service was for a lack or better word , uncomfortable. I was rushed thru my dinner, even though I specifically stressed that I would like not to be rushed. Literally , Every other minute questions about food, am I finished or not, and if not would I like to good to be packaged for me . I came to enjoy food...

Ordered takeout and everything was very tasty. The crab meat crusted sea bass was especially good. Prices, while a bit high, aren't absurd and I think the flavor of the food makes it justified.

It has been over 20 years since I visited Avanti after changing jobs and working north of Dallas. What a wonderful rediscovery! The restaurant is not large and there was a lot of chatter, but it was a high energy experience. The food and service were exceptional and the guitarist playing standards during dinner was a crowning touch. We felt welcomed from the moment we pulled into the rather small parking lot. The valet was responsive and friendly both as we arrived and as we left....
