Dinner at Avanti is always great. Hoss is a friendly host, and Martin and Mazzan both provide great service and insightful suggestions on wine and the menu. Ask for them by name! All the usual menu items are good, and the scallop risotto special we had last night was amazing.

We love the neighborhood atmosphere of this place. It has the quality of homemade Italian pasta and the friendly waitstaff to accompany it. We especially enjoy the feel of belonging to this restaurant as a family affair. The seafood pasta was outstanding with heavy portions of shellfish, and the bolognese was excellent. This is fast becoming a favorite Italian restaurant for us in Dallas.

The atmosphere, service and food are always outstanding at Avanti. Knowledgeable staff never rushes you through. Food is always exceptional, and we had a nice guitarist playing nearby.
