This place used to have some great food. But I went back after 2-year break. And The food is totally different now.

This place is quiet and we have not had to wait in line for a table. The wait time for the food is normal for any restaurant. It is a little bit more pricier than other breakfast places but it’s worth it. The bacon and and pancakes are amazing. They are my 2nd favorite pancakes but just by a bit. The breakfast sandwich is also delicious. One of the other reviews stated that the tips are already included. We will have to double check that the next time we go.

Really cute charming place. The demographic (when we went at Sunday at 9am) was an older crowd. We had no issue with, we just felt very out of place. But it was cute getting to see everybody was gathering with their old pals and such. No complaints here- it was a good experience overall. The food was good and the service was at normal speed. Just wanted to share that you may feel outta place too.

My fiance and I got married on the morning of: September 1st 2023. After, we had brunch at Benedict's on Beltline and Inwood Roads in Addison/Dallas. My fiance first suggested Benedict's for my Father's Day 2023 breakfast with my son who was visiting from Gilbert, AZ. At that time, my son and I had Benedict egg breakfasts; I had the pastrami benedict and my son had a regular benedict breakfast. The food and service was excellent at that time and, the food, service and atttention were also excellent the second time. Emanuel was our server, was on top of things, very friendly and the manager, Sandra surprised my wife, her mother and I with small glasses of champagne at the end of our meals, when she asked about the coursages on my wife and mother; and the boutonniere I wore. My wife then informed Sandra we just got married earlier and we wanted to celebrate at Benedict's. We had a fantastic time at Benedict's and highly recommend them.

Ratings over stated. We went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Service was inattentive, Corned beef hash was soggy and flovorless. The chicken and waffles was also substandard, the chicken was flovorless and heavily breaded. The wait staff was busy talking to each other. The prices were very high and value very low. The place was not full. We happened to pass the Original pancake house and they were packed.

It was made correctly but the stuffed French Toast is just not good to me. I loved the old IHOP one. This isn't even "stuffed" it's just two pieces of toast on top of each other.

The food was excellent, you can taste the quality. The atmosphere could use a cleaning, the floor looked dark from dirt. The hostess and another staff person did greet you but one staff person had a small broom and dustpan in her hand when I arrived and was leaning on it when i left. The server may have been new so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt because she did check on me twice but she wasn't really knowledgeable about the menu. I asked how the waffles with strawberries were and she said we don't have that lol it's literally on the menu I showed her and she said that has berries I said couldn't I get this without berries and just strawberries she said yes. Also i asked i could get a side of eggs she shows me a whole egg meal. Nope I just wanted a side of eggs and showed her where that was on the menu also. I could have been ok with most of it (except the dirty floor) but when she delivered the check without clearing my plates that was not cool. I asked don't you think you should clear my plates, she said ok. Dear management please train your staff and please please hire a carpet cleaner to go over your floors. Thanks

There was no wait and the food was AMAZING. One of the best breakfast places I’ve been to in Dallas. Our server was great as well. I think his name was JP. Hopefully he gets recognition!

JP is hands down, one of the best servers I’ve ever had! Came for brunch with some girlfriends, and was not expecting to have such a great time. I had a pretty simple breakfast, nothing fancy, but my eggs and sausage came out hot, and JP made sure I always had hot coffee and a full water glass. He was extremely gracious and let my friends and I catch up after we ate, even though I’m sure we took up a table he could have reset during his shift. Instead he engaged us in conversation and I feel like we left brunch with a new buddy! If you come to Benedict’s make sure to ask to this young man, he made our breakfast one to remember!

Breakfast was on point. First time trying out the place. Lots of seating inside, so we had no issues getting a table at 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday. Our server, Caesar, was fantastic! Funny, attentive, and some of the best service. Two eggs breakfast with bacon was a great classic. My fiancé had their green chili scramble and she loved it.We will be back!

I lived in Dallas for years. I lived not far from this place and and never gave it a try.I made it back into town for a visit and had the opportunity to make it in for brunch. This place is AWESOME! The menu is breakfast and lunch and everything on it is great. I was here with a group and everyone loved their food. The server and service was fantastic and the food was delicious. It was a very non-pretentious brunch experience I think everyone can get down with.

Got here early to get a table but there policy is everyone has to be present to be seated. We knew the order for our friend but they still wouldn’t seat us. In the meantime place is filling up. They no longer do crab eggs Benedict. Been sitting here for 20 minutes now and starting to fill up.

Hate to leave this kind of review but just a WARNING. While yes the food TASTED GREAT I've just filed a complaint with the city of addison been sick for 2 days after eating here. Unable to prove it was from here but just requested they look into it. I feel like the 1st eggs on my Benedict were undercooked. I sent my plate back for them to remake. Other than that everything was fine. Nothing tasted funny. 2nd issue with this place. They do AUTO gratuity. When I asked to see where the policy was posted they wouldn't answer me at first just simply said if you don't want it on there we can take it off. Well that was not my question. So they couldn't show me. Of course the waitress is due a tip. She was pretty good so I did not want to remove it or adjust the amount to lower than 20%, but just was very surprised with only a two person table being automatically charged up front for tip. Their eventual explanation: the system is designed to auto charge when there's a large number of items on the bill no matter the party size. I've never heard of this. I walked out of there very annoyed. Food good but not happy about the up front gratuity and my stomach has not been right since.
