Arrived for a gathering for a kid birthday. Seating was for 730. We didn’t get seated until 7:45. We waited for a chef to come to table. Cristian was our server. I don’t feel I personally got good service to tip a hefty $20! The receipt says suggested! Not guarantee all orders at 18%. I asked for the manager bc I came to the establishment with a certain amount. Single mother with two kids. I was forced to tip the 18% after the manager came and said “you have to tip something” anfter I agreed $5, and still charged my card and made my balance a negative. The manager on duty 4/17 for 8:00 a male was rude and totally unprofessional. Didn’t come and tell us sorry for your wait nor did he ask if everything was okay. Basically just pay the suggested tip even if service was not with it. This location was NOT worth it. The carpet stinks and we were rushed thru after they were late and confused arriving to table. Food was okay. First time and WILL NOT RETURN DALLAS !

Great service. Steven, the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us for a birthday party. Moy was our chef, and great service from waiters. Recommend if in Dallas, great place for groups and friends with exceptional service. 10/10 recommend.

My family and I visit at least once per week. Every experience is good but today our Chef did his thing❣️ Arsene you are the man❣️❣️Manager Micai you run a productive ship we never have a long wait when you’re on duty!

Our party of 8 has an experience to remember for a couple birthdays we were celebrating. From the management, Dave and Steven, to the waitstaff, Nini, and from the wonderful food to the greatest chef, Yusuf, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer evening. Though that particular Benihana has been there since the 70s, I believe, it has stood the test is time. The staff define ‘service’; and, we hope corporate will take a look at this crown jewel and give a thought to updating it—it would be well worth it, as it would be a packed house!!Food—10Second—10Atmosphere—8 (just dated)Chef Yusuf—20. The best any of us had ever seen!! Wow!!!
