The food is always excellent. One of my favorite places to go. We were celebrating my sister's and my niece's birthdays. It is always fun to go there. My only reservation is the cost. We had to ask for the lunch menu as we were only given the dinner menu. A lot of difference in the cost. The service is always excellent from walking in the door to when we leave. I do recommend Benihana for a special occasion.
Most of the food was over salted, I had the scallops, and they were cooked perfect, my husband had the steak, and it was overcooked and tough. The soup and salad were good as usual. The chef was new to the restaurant and might need a little help with the seasoning process. The overall experience was good, and would recommend it to everyone, we enjoy going there every year for our special occasion.
It was good food, chef was great but the service was slow. 3/7 people got steamed rice and we never got it! We ended up getting it to go because we had finished our meals by the time they brought it out. We didn't get to eat the ice cream because we had been there for 2 hours and at that point we just wanted to get out of the place.
