Thank you to Sam , our waiter, and restaurant managers Sam and Michael GM for staying open in icy Dallas and providing superior service to their customers. Great food and service. This is one of our favorite spots from a casual dinner to a special event.

Had not been there in years but experience was perfect! Food presentation was delightful, lobster bisque was delicious as well as Cobb salad and our waiter was the best in attitude, personality and service!!!! My only disappointment was probably due to my not reading the website correctly. I thought brunch was available every day and I was looking forward to eggs Benedict!!

This was my first lunch visit to Bistro 31. The Host accommodated my request for a lovely side booth. Our server Eric was outstanding. We never lacked anything while we dined for over two hours. I ordered the lobster bisque and one of the off menu items, pan seared branzino with a vegetable medley. The lobster bisque had a good amount of lobster in the bisque however the flavor was a bit bland. I would not order it again. The branzino and vegetables were cooked perfectly and the dish was quite delicious. I topped off my lunch with a crustless cheesecake also very tasty and a piping hot cappuccino. Be prepared to spend more than the usual amount for lunch. Although it was a bit pricey, my overall lunch experience was very nice.

Went for brunch. Server was very nice and attentive. Food was very disappointing. I ordered the eggs benedict. My eggs were very badly cooked. One was so soft with very runny whites, the other was hard cooked. I am not sure ho is the kitchen let the dish go out that way. There was not more than a couple of tablespoons of Hollandaise sauce for the dish, and the sauce was bland. No sharpness just butter flavor.

Overall, it was disappointing and definitely not worth the price.

Bistro 31 is our absolute best place to eat. Michael and his entire team are the best of the best, none can compare. It is not good... it is GREAT in every way!!

NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR WOMEN! My fiance stopped by for lunch by herself after shopping at Highland Park Village. Her waiter (Brian) inappropriately invited her out to a bar for drinks. After politely declining, she asked for a check, paid with her credit card, and left. Her waiter (Brian) decided it was okay to take my fiancé's name from her receipt and then looked her up on social media. Her waiter (Brian) proceeded to creepily privately message her on Instagram, begging her to come out. This crossed a clear line. We called the restaurant to inform them of the situation and report that this is creating an unsafe environment for females in their restaurant. We spoke to the manager (Mike). He assured us that this behavior was unacceptable and that he would call back the next day with a resolution. He called back the next day to inform us that Brian received a slap on the wrist and is still employed by Mike at Bistro 31. UNBELIEVABLE! We will not be returning to Bistro 31 and suggest that everyone else avoid it as well.

This is some of the best food ive had in dallas. Got the filet it was melt in your mouth good. Sushi was delicious and unique not very pricy. Great ambiance upstairs and more chill downstairs. Staff is incredible and makes you feel at home. Tried every dessert they were all good haha.

The new dish, an agnolotti stuffed with a pureed wagyu has a good flavor. My serving was lukewarm and the portion size a bit small. We complete enjoy the Bistro and Michael runs a tight ship. We frequent them often and will continue to do so. CW

I'm sad to say we had a very bad experience at Bistro 31. The server was rude and even turned his back and walked away while my husband was still speaking to him. I understand you have to turn tables but we were on the early side for dinner (5:30 reservation) and there were plenty of open tables. We ordered a soup to start and then our entrees, they rushed the entrees out and put all of the food on the table and it was hard to move around at our table. This was a very sad dinning experience for us.

Another local favorite of ours. Great ambiance, service and delicious food. Our brunch favorite is the omelette and the galette.

Food was good albeit over priced. Disappointing that a an old fashioned would be server on ice cubes vs a block of ice. Sounds petty, but most old fashioned served correctly. Good wine selection.
