Best gelato I ever had, the cakes are always a show stopper at my house when I entertain!

I stumbled across Botolino on Instagram after seeing a post that claimed it’s one of the best gelato spots in the US — and of course, I had to see if it lived up to the hype. Spoiler: it kind of does.

I got the chocolate sorbetto and it’s easily the most intensely chocolaty gelato I’ve had — rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. I also sampled the lychee sorbet, and it was basically summer in a cup. Super fruity, super fresh.

Their dessert cakes looked gorgeous, so I tried the coffee and the dark chocolate one. Unfortunately, they were served frozen solid. The flavors were good once they thawed a bit, but the texture and experience would’ve been so much better at the right temperature.

Overall, the gelato’s definitely worth a visit. Just skip the frozen cakes unless you’re bringing them home.

I’ve had gelato all across Europe, and Botolino is hands down the best I’ve ever had in the U.S. Having traveled to over 30 states and tried gelato everywhere, nothing comes close. I even make the two-hour drive to Dallas every couple of weeks just for Botolino—it’s that good.

Delicious gelato and sorbet

I don't use the Lord's name in vain often, but omg, this place was phenomenal!!! This is elevated authentic gelato. Unique flavors and quality will have you coming back for more.

I feel robbed, paying so much for an ice cream to realize that due to the bad attitude of the girl who served me I ended up receiving less than what I should have, the person after me received almost double and those after that too, I also visit this place frequently and today I see that they are now weighing the ice cream, it would not be bad if they were going to charge by weight, and they should be more transparent to the customer and say how much the weight is in grams or ounces so that they know what they are buying, and show them that it is that way, otherwise one ends up being poorly served and also receiving much less than what they paid for. The terrible attention from Madina, who was the manager of the place, was the one who served me and there were several upset customers today ... check it out, it is an excellent product but with these bad practices they end up driving away loyal customers like me.

Delicious gelato. You may want to take a look at their beautiful sundae’s before you go straight for the gelato. There are flip cards with pictures around the shop. I inadvertently walked past them. Next visit will be for a sundae.

First time visiting this location since I recently moved nearby. I always go for my staple flavors: pistachio and coconut!
Got it to-go in a cute box. Delish and yummy.
