Boulevardier has had twelve wonderful years in the Dallas Bishop Arts District, but is now closing, sadly. Our food was, as usual, excellent. Service was also very good; entrees were a little slow to come to table, otherwise that would have scored an outstanding too. We will miss Boulevardier, but hopefully something else will replace it.
Lesson learned. If a place is going out of business, let it go. Staff was nice but limited. Experienced long waits for food arrival and service checks and had to give reminders for multiple service requests. The food was good at best, not worth the cost; cutting my English muffin was an exercise in endurance and patience. Sad that such a historically great place ends on a sour note.
Wood fire grilled oysters - Excellent !Crawfish beignets - very tastyOld fashioned - One of the better ones I've tasted in a while.It's in the Bishops Arts District so there's tons of stuff to do afterwards.
