Pillar Reviews
We decided to spend the day in Bishop Arts and popped into Pillar for lunch. The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon bite and cocktail. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Side note, I loved the water glasses so so much. I may or may not have come home with a pair that was given to me by (I’m assuming) the manager :)
We will have to come back to try the dinner menu soon!
This restaurant is amazing. Such a cute, cozy vibe! The service was excellent. I believe our server’s name was Heaven. She was very nice and recommended the short rib agnolotti. Honestly, it was the best pasta I’ve EVER had, and the food in general was phenomenal. The manager, James, is so sweet. Thank you so much for such a beautiful night. Will come back many more times. This place deserves attention for real, Dallas needs such an amazing food !
This was a great spot to duck in for a lunch on a Saturday. No wait to sit down. It was a brunch menu with some unique and creative options. Decent cocktail list as well. Excellent server who explained the history of the restaurant and had some good recommendations. I’d recommend stopping here for some food. Note that it is a little pricey but it feels like you get what you pay for.

Pillar is a restaurant that offers an incredible dining experience. The service is exceptional, with knowledgeable servers like Peter who can accurately describe flavors and pairings. The menu features delicious dishes, including a flavorful fried chicken, roasted cauliflower, brioche cornbread, and a mouth-watering chocolate cake. The shrimp and grits are absolutely to die for, and the bread is similar to a mix of Challah bread and cornbread. The hamachi watermelon dish and tempura squash blossoms are outstanding, and the grilled leeks are very good and recommended with the brioche cornbread. The ambiance is lovely, making it the perfect spot for special occasions or a night out. The cocktails from the bar manager are spot on, and the chef’s dishes are unreal. The coconut cream pie is a must-try, and the fried chicken is one of the best ever. Guests often find it hard to order a bad dish here because of the level of food quality and consistency. Overall, Pillar lives up to the hype and is definitely worth a visit, especially if you ask for Peter.
