What a great spot! We enjoyed the drinks, the apps, and the dinner. Everything was delicious, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I came for a solo dinner. My table was quiet and quaint. My server Emberto was energetic and so nice. He gave me great suggestions. The wait staff was on it and engaging. I had the fried chicken and greens which was delicious and flavorful. I had plenty leftovers for the next day. I finished with the blackberry lemon and I tell you it was delightful and clean. I will definitely be back. I have a few more items to try.
Pillar is super cute! The vibes were great, but it is really loud inside. The arancini and the sauce it comes with was 10/10. We ordered the Roasted Cauliflower and Agnolotti as our mains, both were good but the agnolotti was the better of the two. The short rib melts in your mouth. Pillar is a restaurant that offers an incredible dining experience. The service is exceptional, with knowledgeable servers like Peter who can accurately describe flavors and pairings. The menu features delicious dishes, including a flavorful fried chicken, roasted cauliflower, brioche cornbread, and a mouth-watering chocolate cake. The shrimp and grits are absolutely to die for, and the bread is similar to a mix of Challah bread and cornbread. The hamachi watermelon dish and tempura squash blossoms are outstanding, and the grilled leeks are very good and recommended with the brioche cornbread. The ambiance is lovely, making it the perfect spot for special occasions or a night out. The cocktails from the bar manager are spot on, and the chef’s dishes are unreal. The coconut cream pie is a must-try, and the fried chicken is one of the best ever. Guests often find it hard to order a bad dish here because of the level of food quality and consistency. Overall, Pillar lives up to the hype and is definitely worth a visit, especially if you ask for Peter.
