We were traveling for spring break, and the food and service were absolutely amazing. It was so good that we ate it 2 days in a row. The coffee is delicious, lemonade is freshly squeezed, Buffalo Mac and cheese is top tier, and the bread pudding French toast is worth another trip to Dallas. If you're in the area, please stop here. It's giving the small-town, local vibe that I look for when visiting other places.
Long wait times and very slow turning the tables over during brunch time about 11:45-12:30. As we were waiting there were sometimes 4-5 tables just waiting to be cleared up. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or what but they could do better to reduce wait times. The beignets were awful, overcooked borderline burned and very flat not fluffy at all. Good food. Good service. Our waitress Jessie was super attentive and on top of things. Keith went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable as we sat outside on a windy Dallas morning. The Host and Hostess need a lot more training. Aiden seemed nervous to tell guests how long the wait was and the male host was very close to being plain rude.
