I had the red beans and rice ($5.99) and the Gator Bites ($12.99).I ordered everything to go, and I think the red beans were a full pint, so the price of $5.99 is ok. They were PLENTY spicy enough for my taste, and they included plenty of sausage. I was totally pleased with the quantity and the quality. The Gator Bites were well cooked, and nice and spicy but didn’t include any sort of sauce like pictured on the ordering menu via Yelp (looked to be some sort of cocktail sauce but not sure). Although they were mighty tasty, there was just not enough gator to make it worth the $12.99 price tag.Don’t let my three star rating deter you from trying them out. It was really the cost vs quantity issue with the Gator bites that knocked them down from four starts to three stars. I will definitely check them out again. If for nothing else, the red beans and rice - I LOVED it!!!

I ordered Uber eats from this place just now. I got the seafood platter, gumbo, and Mac and cheese. The only reason this place gets 1 ⭐is because the Mac and cheese is very good. All of the food in the seafood platter smells and taste spoiled and rank. The gumbo is EXTREMELY SALTY to the point you can't eat it unless you want high be lood pressure. I really wanted to like this place, but it's a no go. Please check the quality of your food so no gets sick.

I’m from Louisiana , so I’m picky about the seafood i try. I was going to give this place a try. Placed my order online. Drive 25 mins to pick up my food. Restaurant closed, no one answers the phone , and I’ve had 25 bucks stolen from me. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone that’s not professional enough to have all signs indicate the place is up and running for business but no one is home at 1:30 on a Sunday.

What can I say about this place that will help you who are reading this. You must come and see for yourself just how great this place is. First the this extremely handsome man who was my waiter. Very nice and knew his menu. I had the crab cakes they where just okay. The fish and shrimp was great. I came for the wings, so I ordered them to take home. Lastly, my dinner drink. All and all i will be back. Its nice to be apart of a business that is all about the community.

Giving this 1 pitiful star just because. Today July 3 2021 I wanted some crawfish my usual please has none because the season is over. I never knew there was a crawfish season, ok. So we stumbled upon this place drove 25 mins from Rowlett. The crawfish were horrible they were soft and mushy and had an old taste the entire 2lbs was disgusting. Utterly disgusting maybe it was because of the lemon seasoning idk. I will most likely never go back. :(

I think I need to do over the first time was wonderful the second time was not. My gumbo had nothing in it but juice even though it was tasty! Not sure if it was just a mishap or what!

It was near closing time, I saw they had gumbo and I was hesitant because I have been disappointed on so many occasions. Dude working the front was real cool, let me know what was good. It was takeout, when I got back to my room, It was still warm and it was good. I would recommend giving it a go.

New to the Dallas area and so happy to have found this spot. The food is so tasty! My friends and I tried the crawfish, crab legs, and shrimp boils. The gumbo is to die for as well. The gentleman who took care of us was also very sweet and charming. We came in before closing and there a was a big wave of people who entered at once but he managed the situation well. Will definitely be back.

This place is decent, staff was really nice, food service was swift as well. The only issue is the authentic tasting of the food, it's not Cajun nor Louisianan flavored cuisine; more so a attempt at recipes and slightly being accepting to how it turned out but not culturally soul food or seafood. This is not bad though, just misleading on expectations from the company name, IMO. The food is ok, not bad but prepared with efforts to do the right thing to serve a quality plate. Crawfish was good but not so much a flavor although I'd eat again; gumbo, jambalaya, oxtails, pig feet, etc are decent but not really Cajun or southern tasting, lacks true specific seasoning from the south, more like basic ingredients that look like Cajun cooking. All in all, it's a good fall back if in the area, but Nate's a few blocks away would be a better option if open. This place is good, just lacks flavor; not bad though.

Filling portions, well seasoned and nice sized shrimp. Be sure to ask for extra remoulade sauce— it’s good.

Ordered here today 6/3/21 with my coworkers. They left MANY ITEMS OUT. I HAD TO CALL DOORDASH BECAUSE EVERYONE DIDNT GET THERE FOOD. Dont waste your time with this place. You are better off going to popeyes plus the portions are small for what you pay for. #ANNOYED

God is my witness I've never had Mac and cheese as notoriously bad as this. Like, at this point I'd ask anyone to order (hence wasting their money like me) and try it just to prove me wrong. Absolutely disgusting. Their "cornbread dressing"..... another big big unfunny joke.

Ox Tails yummmm. This place was a good find. Not sure if it's black owned but it's black run
