Had a plate from them at the Texas state fair that was so good we decided to try the actual restaurant. We pulled up for lunch only to discover we could only order in the drive through and only select menu items. We ordered shrimp and catfish platter to eat in the car. Kind of salty and the fries weren’t great. And we had to keep watching our surroundings. It wasn’t like the fair plate and we were disappointed. Good enough to try but not good enough to come from Anna again.
Catfish Floyd's is my favorite catfish restaurant. However, it has not been the same since Mr. Floyd passed away several years ago. Last year, I went there several times during the daytime, and they were closed. There was no notice posted. Several cars drove by like I did, and we didn’t know what was going on. On top of that, the food and the service have fallen off too.
