This was maybe about my fourth time eating here. The first time I ate hear the food was FANTASTIC. But it has steadily just went down in taste and enjoyment. I am not sure why, but it is just not as good as the first time. I probably won't eat here for a while because of that and also because the food is expensive. I don't mind the price but if I am going to spend this much on food I want it to be good and enjoyable.Parking: Because of it's location the parking is ATROCIOUS!!!! It is next to impossible to find any kind of parking. The last two times I was here I had to park across the street.

I had high hopes for some good Cajun food. Mardi Gras and all.I'm dumbfounded. As a Decorated Chef, Former instructor at the Le Cordon Bleu...I don't know what I ate. It wasn't Cajun/nor Creole, pot cooking. From the canned soup base for the gumbo, to the jambalaya I was absolutely dumbfounded that they had the audacity to call this cajun/creole cooking. Sterile, had the odor of canned Campbell's bean soup. Pure lack luster, no body from Louisiana would put their name to this.

Delicous fried shrimp, blackened chicken, dirty rice and cajun fries. Cool atmosphere and excellent service! Can't wait to come back and try other menu items.

Was excited to try this place. The staff was really nice. The dirty rice was ok, but the blackened shrimp & catfish weren't really blackened and lacked Cajun flavor. The cole slaw was so salty I had to toss it. Needless to say I was disappointed. Sad, cause I was hopeful this could be my new community hang out.Parking: Lower Greenville Ave, on a Friday night will always be an issue.

They had Louisana Hot Sauce, so they start off with 4 stars just for that. The boudin balls were delicious. I could have done without the mustard sauce, but I guess it depends on your preference. It was my first time having gumbo, and it was ??. In the event my wife gets sick, she wants me to come get her gumbo from here. She is aware that we live 25 minutes away. She said it's that good. Fish was crispy, hot, and fresh. This is a nice spot to check out!!

Amazing Beauty

The food about 2 or 3 years ago was good when they had the original people from Louisiana cooking in the kitchen.. as of now they have Mexican/illegals cooking and the food is no longer good. When you take the good cooks out and replace them with cheap labor the food quality goes down tremendously .

Honestly my favorite NOLA food in Dallas. They go above and beyond at a reasonable price.
