A classic Drive-In with a dine-in choice. It has been on Dallas Observers "Best of" list, several times. 70 years in business, so you would think they must be doing something right, and they are. Very good service and food. The prices are on point.
It's not what it used to be. The burgers have no flavor and the fries were burnt, soaked in oil and had no flavor at all. I also ordered a Bacon cheeseburger but didn't get NO Bacon!

I hadn't been to Dairyette in a very long time and was pleasantly surprised that they still come out to take your order. The service was excellent, she was friendly and our food was ready pretty quickly. The place looked deserted, and the parking lot definitely needs work, which is why I gave it three stars for atmosphere. I enjoyed my cheeseburger and fries and will definitely go again to try some other items.

When I was a kid you could order thanksgiving dinners there.. full meal.. my pops work communication at WRR . we go eat at the transmitter..use to climb the tower n back by cotton bowl.. remember bob bullit Hayes break aways..top seat on communication tower.. always n trouble but have great memories of dairyette. Haven't been n a few years but I'll be back.. bet there burgers are still huge.. family owned.. waitresses and car hops be the same for years.. top of the day to DAIRY ETTE EAST DALLAS YALL ROCK.
