La Familiar Restaurant y Panadería is an authentic Mexican food spot with amazing food, great service, and a great atmosphere that feels like eating at someone’s home. The Red Pozole had so much flavor and the perfect amount of spice. The tripita tacos were flavorful, with tripas cooked to perfection and soft, yummy tortillas. Breakfast tacos were extremely flavorful, and the gorditas, sopes, and tacos were bomb, especially the chicharron gorditas. The sweet bread is incredibly soft, fresh, and full of flavor, made with care and love. The customer service is amazing, with a super friendly and accommodating manager who spoke perfect English. This hidden hole in the wall is a new favorite spot for fresh pan dulce and bread. Highly recommended.
