Honestly, it's a really nice place. However, are room had internet ssues straight from the get go. Even more strange, I had someone come into my room at three o'clock in the morning unannounced, that worked there with a male companion. Security was well aware of this and told me a manager would call me which never happened and on top of it. Our reservation was screwed up and they tried not to give my deposit back. I'm not going to lie. There's a 100 hotels at $300 a night. In mcdallas, and I would never pay three hundred a night to come back here. Valet staff was awesome though.

We stayed one night in room 512. The room was clean. Shower tempature and pressure excellent. Beds were full size and comfortable with 4 pillows each.
The temperature in my room never cooled down. An engineer came to the room attempted to fix it. Nothing changed apparently the entire hotel was dealing with a temperature issue. It was at least 80+ in our room. Extremely uncomfortable.
Complained on the Marriott app and to the front desk upon our check out. Our stay was miserable, and I'm certain we were not the only ones.
Marriott added 10000 bonus points to our balance.
Please upgrade or fix the air conditioning or heating within your building.
Fyi... Valet parking is $50.

I recently attended Mixer’s Muse at the Dallas Marriott Downtown Centric bar, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the fun and personalized setting, I felt the amazement of creativity and flavor. A huge shoutout to Kevin, our bartender and instructor extraordinaire! Kevin’s passion for mixology and knowledge of spirits along with his engaging teaching style made the entire experience unforgettable. Not only did he share expert tips and tricks for crafting the perfect cocktails, but he also created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made even beginners feel like pros by the end of the session. It was filled with learning, laughs, friends, and good times.
The hands-on approach was fantastic—I had so much fun experimenting with different ingredients and techniques, and the cocktails we created were delicious. It was so fun trying something new. This event is a must-do. At the end of the cocktail experience you get to enjoy a fantastic dinner from Centric. The menu at this restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in Dallas. The culinary team is phenomenal. We shared our entrees and everything was phenomenal.
Thank you, Kevin, and the team at the Dallas Marriott for an evening I will remember forever. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Safety: Good safety standards in hotel
Walkability: Yes
Food and drinks: Lounge could do with more variety of food but reasonable
Noteworthy details: No pool, gym good, friendly welcoming staff

I stayed here for 2 weeks to attend training for work. The hotel is really clean and in a convenient location. It’s located in a Plaza with stores and places to eat breakfast and lunch. (The Plaza stores/restaurants are only open during weekdays) The hotel also has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food and drinks were great. The rooms are very clean and spacious and quiet as well. The bed was very big and comfortable. The M Club Lounge was probably the favorite part of my stay. They offer breakfast and light bites in the evening. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks are also offered throughout the day. The hotel staff were all very nice and accommodating, especially the Managers Mr. Mathew and Ms. Srerosi. I had an issue with my door that required maintenance and it was addressed and fixed right away. Whenever I visit Dallas I will be sure to stay here again.

A little run down and sloppy. Room layout was ok but the walls and ceiling are paper thin. You hear everything

Restaurantji Recommends
No microwaves available for rooms. Not even in each floor. Just in the lobby.
Fridge in room only has a setting to turn on for 2 hours. Its on the inside. All my food got ruined. Theyre trying to save on the fridge electric bill. This is ridiculous.

The restaurant manager Kay approached us asking if we were staying at the hotel while sitting at the front of the restaurant eating/drinking the samples they gave us. Instead of asking if we were waited on, she wanted to know if we were staying at the hotel. While we were there to eat and drink, we weren't staying there, but staying at a sister property. She had been staring at us for some time because we were talking to people in the Lobby. We were told by Melissa that worked there that we needed to order something or, "The Manager is going to make it a big deal!" I had to walk up to the bar and order. After we finished or drinks we walked to the mall area. Melissa had informed security that we weren't allowed to talk to anyone there because there had been complaints. Nobody complained other than Kay. The party she said complained receives my donations and will be contacted to further verify the story. I've addressed the entire details with Corporate.
Needs to keep the glass windows of the establishment clean. Especially the front lobby windows and automatic doors. They should always be clean

On a business trip,I thought my stay would be relaxing and clean. No, I went into the room and the tub was filthy.I called the front desk and she said someone will be up there. The cleaning lady came tried to scrub it and she said she couldn't get it out. There was hair in the tub and it was filthy.Result, she said the tub was stained and she will have someone look at it.No one came.Stained or not you don't allow a guest to shower in a stained tub like that.It was gross.
