Front desk always seem to be super busy, can’t keep up and help guests. Usually have to wait a long time.Ordered room service, they called me and told me they didn’t have what I wanted to order and started offering orders that were significantly less and I said “can I get my money reimbursed?!” And then he started naming off more things. I said once again can I get my money reimbursed. He hung up on me. Never got my order, now I have to contact my bank to dispute charges with this hotel. Very frustrating being a MARIOTT and treating guests this way.

Great place. I wish there were more to do in the Plaza. It would be beautiful if the parking lot across from the hotel were converted to a nice

I always have a great experience at this location. I often travel to Dallas for work and the front desk staff is extremely helpful in recommendations and care. They were especially patient today (2/20) as we navigated some difficultly dining my booking due to a name issue. Highly recommend.

We came into town for a volleyball tournament. Upon arrival, the hotel was hectic and very busy but the parking attendant was very helpful and kind. Check in was super easy. Once we got to our room, I went to open the sofa sleeper and there was hair and little speckles of brown on the sheets. Thankfully the bed was fine. The next morning, I went to grab coffee and the machine was missing a whole piece, there was no water and the coffee box had not been refilled. Maybe the room wasn’t cleaned? I don’t know. I let the front desk know and I could tell when I came back that they cleaned everything and changed all of the bedding. They didn’t give me a new coffee machine though, so that was annoying. On the positive, it is a nice location, especially for public transportation usage! It’s easy to get into the parking garage and the hotel itself felt safe with the key opening elevator doors.

This is the best downtown hotel for family staycation. The hotel location is great. The room beds are comfortable that is better than JW Marriott. Service is always great. We love to stay at this hotel whenever we want to explore some activities around downtown. Love the Sunday morning buffet that will open from 6:30 am till noon. This is perfect for our two lazy kids who won’t get up after 10 am on Sunday and we still won’t miss the breakfast. Thank you for the special fruit tray treat during our stay this time. It made the trip even more enjoyable.Rooms: Room is always clean and I love the walk in shower with strong water pressure

Dirty bathroomsI’ve been to this hotel a bunch of times never really had a problem in the past. At this hotel the rooms are clean staff is nice. I stayed here recently and ended up changing my room after I noticed the tub was a little dirty. I really wish I hadn’t because they switched me to an even dirtier tub with brown, dirt, what I thought was corrosion that went all the way from the drain to the back wall. Well I’m sad to say I realized it wasn’t corrosion too late ended up showering in it. What’s even crazier is the maintenance person saw it and said nothing! I’m so sad and grossed out I couldn’t even sleep well after that. All I could think Is who know what’s on the mattresses. Zero stars.Rooms: Dirty

Be cautious with the bar when you set up a tab. They hit your card with a $50 charge when you start a tab.better review your bills …closely …. just got charged twice to my card for the same transaction hoping the pending charge clears before I need the funds and the drink prices vary ordered the same drink 3 days in a row. One was $15 day 2 was $16.98 and day three was $28 because I questioned my bill

Ordinary Marriott; except, it has one of the best Marriott Lounges I have seen anywhere in the world. The rooms are also remodeled.Rooms: Remodeled

Overall really good hotel. Rooms are clean, but a bit outdated (like majority of Marriott properties). Location is nice, relatively central. I appreciate the self parking optionHowever I will subtract two stars for absolute disappointment - the club lounge is closed on the weekends. Why?! This is the first Marriott property where I have experienced this nonsense. The availability of the club lounge was the main reason why I decided to stay here and not at another hotel. And no, a “breakfast in a restaurant” is not a replacement of the lounge. I appreciate the lounge for 24/7 snacks, soda, dinner and complimentary alcohol in the evening

Excellent service, excellent fitness center, public areas and room very clean—nothing to complain about at the Dallas Marriott. I’d go for 4.5 stars if possible only for the elevators (not their function, their appearance)—which don’t match the luxury of the rest of the property. To the management: suggest an elevator remodel, the 1970’s fake wood vibe isn’t working (in my humble opinion).
